Team cohesion always suffers when we take 1 or 2 players out, we look ordinary when Eriksen doesn't play which has been happening for ages so I'm not sure why people expected much different.
yep i know and i get what you are saying. but we should have purchased something lol to cover eriksen. but we didn’t. and before we have bought cheap and done well. i don’t believe there was nothing available. we needed cover for kane as we knew that llorente isn’t the one. we didn’t and we haven’t given a chance to any youngsters.

our first and second team were and should still be not too far apart.

it was awful (again) tonight but in retrospickle 7 different stadiums in a row may be a bit of an eye-opener. Poch has had a bit to say about getting that new stadium ready by end of the year and it being the most important thing at the moment. i think he said it to push bloody levy to push the fucking builders to get it done quick.
Imagine being the players for a moment. They won't say it but they definitely wouldn't have felt at home at Wembley last season, therefore they would have been desperate to get into the new stadium. It has to have an affect on them, surely.

With Poch rotating heavily, WC players trying to pick up form and moving stadium every game, it has to take its toll and I can't imagine what it does to the mindset as you need familiarity and stability. I honestly think that once we move in to the new stadium the whole mood and energy will change.

well, we all hope so. but just hoping isn’t really enough is it?
let’s hope the team and poch and levy aren’t just hoping.

I don't understand why footballers turn their backs on shots. Like Davies tonight if he faces that shot down that goal doesn't happen. Surely they really coached this. So annoying.

Are there no highlights for our game anywhere? Only got to see the penalties which is always fun :cautious:

I know Lamela is marmite on this forum but I have to say his ‘never say die’ attitude is one of the positives this season. A goal and assist in this game, I know people with crucify him for Watford second goal but he got us the opportunity for the penalty and got us the equalizer. On Saturday he got a well deserved goal against Brighton. His head never goes down and he fights till the last whistle, something the rest of our squad should take heed of. He deserves to start our next game over Eriksen; the tenacity he shows sets the tone and one the team should follow.
