Not going to say anything, but ever since that article about Levy's 6M pay has come out we have been well off the ball. Not going to say coincidence but a little bit suspect, and I know the players were a bit shocked to hear the news.

For all you moaners that really wasn’t that bad a performance. We controlled the game especially in the first half except for a few sloppy passes from Dembele and Dier.
Trippier yet again got targeted by the opposition and had another up and down game, got forward pretty well and got his assist but also got beaten about 3/4x by his winger and that headed towards the end my goodness?, basic defending high and WIDE, away from the goal not straight back to their player in the area!

Anyway at 2-0 they threw on more attackers and we soaked up a bit more pressure but we could’ve and should’ve also scored mabye 2 more. Completely normal game, mabye a little under par but mostly controlled the game and got the job done but yet again our weaknesses or areas for improvement should I say were clear for all to see.

Disagree. Even Harry is on now saying we played poorly and were lucky to go in ahead at HT. And players generally don’t put down their own performances when they’ve won.

I like Sissoko and think he would do well for a club outside the top 6. Hope he gets moved on though
He’s been very professional for us and made some important contributions so good on him. But he’s no more than squad player for us so best for both parties that he moves and we bring on Onomah and Winks

I really didnt understand mopo's sub.
Sissoko instead of moura.
Having Dier, wanyama and sissoko in there doesn't make football sense to be but he's the manager

What a weird game... Didn't help that all the tourists fucked off after 70 mins, leaving the ground practically empty for the last 20...

Attendance was poor, 57,000 or something. Wouldn't even fill our new stadium.

I think Poch did the perfect subs. True we didn't look fluid anymore but to stop their game with fouls and boring time-wasting stuff was something we needed in this match. Most of you here (including me during the ht) would go with Lucas, but we would suffer even more in this case.

I think Poch is learning as well and he opted for 3 pts today instead of his rigid approach. I see progress there. It's something every elite team has in it.

Also, I was very critical towards Lloris recently and I'm glad that he proved me wrong today. Please keep on doing it Hugo!

Emotional night for me and my group tonight as our close friend passed away last Sunday, the semi-final at Wembley being the last place we saw him. Thank you to anyone who joined in with the 59th minute applause.

The football was secondary tonight, but glad we got the win.

RIP Pottsy

Really, I watched a different game then. We weren’t at our best but I’ve also seen us play much worse than that. What did Poch say?

Guys, you do realise we were 2.0 up in a must win game when 'the negative subs' as you call them were made.
We were seeing the game out. And we did so comfortably.
You dont stick another 2 attacking players on and go for 3 4 or 5 goals.
Yes it was far too slow in the 1st half with not enough urgency but we went in at half time 1.0 up and once we scored the 2nd early on it was job done.

Some of you fuckers crack me up. You watch 70 minutes of turgid wank, Wanyama comes on and your like "we've been shit since Wanyama came on".
Pretty sure people have just been surprised as to how shit Wanyama was when he came on. And he was dreadful. Surely you’re not suggesting otherwise?

It’s not like anyone’s calling for him to be moved on are they?

Pretty poor performance but a good result given how low our confidence is right now. Should really get 3rd now which will be a great achievement given the Wembley factor and the money thrown around by the other clubs.

Did you not think that following Watfords substitutions bringing on Delafeu and Deeney they started creating space and chances but after Poch brought on Sissoko for Son they dried up again, it seemed pretty clear to me.

"Tottenham reach 70+ points for the 3rd successive season, having done so only twice in the previous 23 PL seasons."

A bit of perspective lads and lasses.

Thought we were abysmal. Watford cut us apart pretty much at will and would have scored a few were it not for Hugo and Jan. I thought Dembele was terrible and gave the ball away constantly and Kane still clearly isn't fit. It was similar to the Palace game.

Anyway...great result..lets hope we learn next time!
