Watford at Wembley at night, freezing cold, ice and snow, no season tickets, illness and apathy I'd guess.

Apathy !!, record haul of Premier League points , still challenging the top two and our fans are suffering from apathy. Maybe some of our so called whining supporters should change allegiance and support someone else give up their season tickets and let more dedicated fans have them..

Hate to be "that guy" but..

Love how we're playing early Saturday, but Liverpool not until Monday night. They could at least try and make it subtle.

Newcastle are always tricky too.
I'd hate to be going to West Ham on a Monday night, especially after they've lost two really bad games.

I'd much rather play them early in the day. Not a good picture for them at all. You watch Klopp whinge about it in the coming days.

Can't speak for others, they may very well have health issues and/or work commitments and are unable to go to a ground that is a pain to get to and from, especially on a snowy midweek night.

Agreed.

And also lets remember that we have 4 home games in a fortnight, ending with a CL game. That's a lot of outlay in a short period. If you had to drop one game then a midweek league match in freezing weather is going to be the obvious choice.

Eriksen was absolutely atrocious last night. Worst game I have ever seen from him. Not sure whats up with him... Tired? Injured? Thinking about more money elsewhere?

Especially if it snows or it's windy, we'll never hear the end of it from him!

I don't think he's that kind of person, if it was money he'd probably have left a long time ago. Perhaps his future is unsettling him or perhaps it's just because he's struggling with the continuous rotation of attacking players. Although, I don't think he's been anywhere near his frequent best this year.

RE: Eriksen's performances of late, my feeling is that *ANY* player is at their best when they have chemistry with the other players around them. And it's undeniable that when Dele, Sonny, and Kane are on the pitch, Eriksen is better.

But when suddenly N'Koudou is to your right and Lucas is up front with Llorente and you're not having that telepathy with them you normally enjoy with others, it stunts your abilities.

Case in point, last night: An early through ball to Llorente from Eriksen that appeared a little overhit. But Eriksen threw his hands up in frustration because he knew Kane would've gotten to it. That's not his fault but it goes down as a misplaced pass. See where I'm going with this?

Unlike the load of panicking, hate-filled rage-babies on the match threads.

I usually avoid match threads - it's easy 'cos I'm at the match. Tonight I was at home on a dodgy stream, having not bought tickets because of health complications (I will get myself to the Newcastle match, then I will probably disappear for awhile), so I read the unending screed of entitled, blame-based crap that masquerades as "being a fan".

And then we scored and suddenly all the hate was love. What bullshit.
Health and family are so important it puts everything else into perspective so get well soon.

Just a few thoughts:

The last few games with a severely depleted squad have been huge in our development. The development of the 'winning mentality' cultivated by Poch was demonstrated to perfection with late comebacks against Fulham and Watford and can only serve to convince the players that they can continue to develop and do great things.

The antics by Success when we were taking our time after taking the lead were hilarious and his booking was belated karma for all of the time-wasting by Watford. I can understand a lesser team wasting time when ahead, but to do it at 0-0 showed a complete lack of ambition and they got exactly what they deserved.

I understand that Llorente was bood (sp?) by some of our 'fans'. This is disgraceful. He has had hardly any game time, we play a system that doesn't suit him, and he gave his all - as he always does. He has hardly had a kick since he arrived, has never complained and has been a consumate professional. Anybody who gave him abuse is, in my opinion, a complete prick and doesn't deserve the privilige of attending our matches. You're pond life and we don't need you. Please go away.

Load of rubbish. He has been very meh even when playing with Kane and Dele this season. Eriksen has been poor by his own standards this season, with just glimpses of what he can do on some occasions. You trying to mitigate his poor performance is admirable but not justified I am afraid. No doubt Eriksen at his best is top class but unfortunately he has not been for some time.

Nevertheless, despite the reduced number of scintillating individual moments this season, the team plays better when Eriksen is on the pitch. And he scores goals.

Just spending a Sunday morning watching past game highlights, and maybe I'm stating the obvious but:

Should Spurs achieve something special this year, *this match* against Watford will be seen as THE turning point of the entire season.
