Match: ____ Premier League - Day 36

When: ____ Saturday, April 27th 2019

Where: ____ Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Kick Off: ____ 1230 pm

Team Form: ____ Spurs WWLLW ___ West Ham WLLLD __ (All competitions)

We haven’t lost to West ham in our last 3 meetings (2W 1D). We are looking to complete our first league double over West Ham since the 2012-13 campaign, having won 1-0 at the London Stadium back in October.

The Hammers have only won one of their last sixteen away league games against us (D6 L9), picking up a 3-0 victory in October 2013 at White Hart Lane. Following a run of five consecutive home league clean sheets against West Ham, we have conceded in each of our last six at home against the Hammers in the Premier League.

This will be the 12th different campaign in which we and West Ham have met at least three times in all competitions – We have won both games so far, but have never beaten the Hammers three times in the same season before. Only Chelsea (22) have earned more points in the Premier league London derbies than Spurs this season (19), with us winning three of our four at home (D1).

Following an unbeaten run of five games away from (W3 D2), West Ham have lost seven of their last eight on the road in the Premier League (D1), including each of the last four. They last lost five away league games in a row in January 2014. They have lost their last six away league games against “big six” opposition by an aggregate score of 3-16. Indeed, they’re winless in 20 such matches (D6 L14) since 2-1 win at Manchester City in September 2015.

West Ham have conceded at least twice in their last six Premier League games – they’ve never shipped 2+ goals in seven consecutive games in the competition, last doing so in the top-flight between November 1970 and February 1971 (10 games).

Only Arsenal (11) have had more different goal scorers in the Premier League London derbies this season than us (10), with Kane (4). Dele (2) and Son (2) the only players to score more than once for the club in such fixtures.

Mark Noble and Felipe Anderson are the only West Ham players to have scored away from in the Premier League in 2019. The Hammers scored fewer goals on the road than any side in the competition since the turn of the year (2).

Atmosphere should be cracking for this looking forward to it. Should be a more open game than Brighton which should suit us although they have some dangerous forward players. Hopefully we get the job done and all but seal top 4, then concentrate on Ajax. COYS!

We have been given a life line this past week where both Arsenal and Manu have lost twice and Chelsea drawing their game in hand. As thread bare as our squad is due to injuries, we should still have enough quality to get maximum points against the Hammers, giving us some breathing space going into the final stretch of this season. It wont be easy but it can be done. It would be a shame if West ham were to become the first team to score, win and beat us at this new stadium. I don't want them to have this accolade at all, no way! COYS

Feel confident for this, shitting it for next Tuesday mind you.

Hopefully west ham will come and actually attack. Would be a massive 3 points.

Thanks Bullet the thread as always.

Going to this game, my first time in the south stand so excited by that. Also moved my flight back home until after the Ajax game, just need a ticket for that one now.

Confident for this game. West Ham will be up for it and whilst they have some decent players, they are pretty poor defensively. Hopefully they come here and attack, if so I can see a comfortable win. COYS

Blimey the week has been dragging, but fun watching how it unfolded.

Serious stuff now. More of the same game from us, tight defence please.

I’m bricking it already. Constantly on my phone checking for team news. Think this will be really tough

But they'll come out more, so we'll find much more space.

Could see Dele having an influential game if he starts.

Yea, probably. It should suit our game better. All depends on the side we field and the mindset of the players. WH will probably press hard and play tough

We'll win but they will get a goal, and they will never shut up about being the first opposition team to score a goal at our stadium, whilst always remembering to keep schtum about actually losing the game. It's the West Ham way.

Poch's press conference coming up where we're in real danger of finding out that we're going to play a CL semi final with no central midfield.
