Match: ____ Engish Premier League (EPL) - Day 20

When: ____ Saturday 29th December

Where: ____ Wembley Stadium

Kick Off: ____ 3:00pm

Team Form: ____ Spurs DWWWW _____ Wolves WWWLD ____ All Competitions

This will be the 10th EPL meeting between us and Wolves, with us winning five of the 9 previous games (D2 L2). Wolves are winless in five EPL against us (D2 L3), since recording a 1-0 win at Molineux in Feb 2010.

We have been defeated in just on of our 12 home games against wlves in all competitions (W7 D4) losing 0-1 in December 2009. We are unbeaten in our last 39 EPL matches versus newly promoted teams (W36 D3), since losing 0-1 to QPR in April 2012.

We have scored at least 5 goals in our last two EPL games, beating Everton 2-6 and Bournemouth 5-0. We have never previously scored 5+ goals in three consecutive top-flight games. None of our 19 EPL games this season have been drawn. the last team to not draw any of their opening 20 games in a top flight season were Burnley in 193-54 (First 27).

Wolves are unbeaten in EPL games in London this season (W2 D2). They have won 3 of their 6 EPL games in the capital (D2 L1), more than they had in their first 18 such games in the competition (W2 D4 L12)

Eriksen has been directly involved in 99 EPL goals for us (44 goals, 55 assists) and could become the 6th player to have a hand in 100 for the club in the competition (Sheringham, Kane, Keane, Defoe and Anderton)

Son has scored 6 goals in his last 5 EPL including a brace in each of his last two. The last player to score 2+ goals in 3 consecutive EPL games was Dele in January 2017.

Kane has been directly involved in 11 goals in his last 11 EPL appearances against newly promoted teams (10 goals 1 assist)

We are 2nd and are in an unexpected position in the table as far as I am concerned. Going forward I want us to take each game one at a time, treating each game as a cup final, playing positively but without any complacency. It is now in our hands to finish at least second, although there is another half a season to go. This would stick two fingers at the pundits and the British press, for not giving us any credit or the respect which I know we are entitled to.

This a great time to be a Spurs fan. These games coming thick and fast and the lads are giving us so much enjoyment.

I'm looking forward to another win, Wolves won't be easy opposition and will be feeling hard done by in our last meeting up at Molyneux when we gave them a sniff of a draw.

Wolves are a good attacking side and won’t park the bus like Burnley. It would suit our style of play.

Hope we beat the record (of scoring 5 or more goals in 3 consecutive games).

Going up with family tomorrow, doing the one twenty club/Bobby Moore as a Christmas present. Hoping for a good day, good performance, win and cut the gap to 3 points.

Looking forward to it!

Reckon the club would gain universal respect if they won the league with poch getting knighted and levy getting an OBE.

Unfortunately despite the fact that the majority of pundits don't even back us to even finish in the top 4, if we finish 2nd the rhetoric will be that we bottled it and haven't won anything!

Philip Neville predicted Everton to take our spot in the top sixe just before we played Everton, because we have a net spend of zero to there 150 million.

On paper they have a good team, it just shows how far we have come, how great Poch is and how wisely we have spent/ improved players they had running stats and we were in the top 2 Man U were n.

200 million does not buy much these days, 4-5 good players ? I would hate think what Eriksen, Ali, Kane, Son would be worth.
