I’m not intending to disrespect Poch at all. I love him and can’t stand Klopp.

Poch might not work well with big money, he’s never had the chance to prove it. His obsession with hardworking, beastly type players suggests he might not flourish with a huge budget. Then again he might do brilliantly with big money.

With Klopp we know what we’d get. The added bonus would be that we’d need to match his ambition in order to attract him in the first place of course, so a guarantee of some sort of spending.

Fair enough. Not sure I agree totally but see where you're coming from (y)

That is pure coincidence. You can't expect us to win every week
No but if we cannot beat Wolves at home when it is moderately important I cannot see us turning it on when it really matters like manure last year and Chelsea before that. We should be winning that game 9 out of every 10 times played.

You're not tired of "excuses" - you are feeling bad and lashing out petulantly. We lost the game in midfield. That could not be clearer to anyone who knows anything about football. We simply had no quality midfielders to bring on. We had to win the game with our front four in the first half and didn't.

This is not to say there aren't questions that need to be asked - like why Llorente was left out when he's a proven gamechanger because he changes everything about our game style. But slaggin off the manager and the players when we don't have our four first choice midfielders is just not very good support really.

We had Skipp on the bench....... Poch could’ve change things up, change formation, sir deeper and hit them on the counter attack but he did nothing and that’s unacceptable

Why have players on the bench if you’re not going to use them

Liverpool looking tired they're only 3-1 up. Why do people excuse us, we were poor we are not title challengers we are disappointing. In a way we have our Tottenham back. If only we had invested like Liverpool, lets hope better times are to come a cup would help.

Yeah football, it's a funny old game isn't it?

Yes these results happen but it’s the long term I am worried about, we cannot go the rest of the season with the bench we had to stay, changes need to be made
The bench we had today lacked Dier, Lamela, Vertonghen, Aurier, Dembele and Wanyama, would that be change enough? wouldn't it help to have them back, even half of them back? In fact it would have helped us to have half of them in the team on the pitch but they weren't available and, despite all the talk of bottles, the injuries have cost us, we've all been congratulating Sissoko over the last month but Christ we've run him into the ground.
Wolves are not the typical promoted side, due to the set up there with the agents involvement they have players on their books with real ability and enormous experience who took advantage of the situation today and we just didn't have the reinforcements, it's no surprise as someone posted, that we had 109 misplaced passes.
I appreciate that we need to flip our lids and run around in ever decreasing circles bemoaning the fact that we are legends who will never win a trophy and won't even make top four now but there are extenuating factors and we ought to recognise them, we may not win the league now and if not I have no doubt those factors will be relevant.
I'm disappointed but I'm not going to lose it and start slagging off everyone from Lloris to Levy, we go again with still half a season to go.

The comments about Trippier on this thread are lacking in balance in my opinion
Trippier is one of the finest attacking full backs in the Prem
Time and again he is involved in making goals for us either direct assists of which he has 4 in Prem this season or key passes in the build up to goals
If you have forgotten remember 3-0 at Man U or the win at Huddersfield
He is also excellent with a dead ball - scored crucial goal v Fulham and made one vs Everton Takes an excellent corner and crosses very well

He has a history of defensive errors Home to Man City comes to mind and away at Wolves but so had Kyle Walker and so has Serge Aurier who concedes penalties far too often and even KWP and lots of other very good full backs
Trippier was not the main cause of our loss today - the whole team just ran out of gas in the second half - and passes went astray at a most unusual rate for us - a combination of too many games and too many injuries and few teams can go on winning endlessly and it just hit the whole team today as sometimes happens in sport
We have done marvellously in view of lack of money spent and stadium problems and World Cup exhaustion and so many injuries
But acknowledge Trippier talents and please avoid extreme unbalanced comments about him

We'll be too tired for a cup without the investment though, what will we do then? Did you think we were title contenders let's say post the NLD (league not the league cup)?

This is true. Unfortunately the real question to be asked is how they didn’t see this type of scenario happening?
Wanyama and Dembele seem to be finished. They’ve been done for a while now and it was certainly something we would have had an idea about back in the summer.

Wolves, a newly promoted team, arguably started the season with a better central midfield pairing than we did.

It’s looking fantastic for Liverpool. Can’t believe people were scared of the goons beating them and catching us!!

4 - 1 at halftime.

At. Half time I thought a change of full backs could give what we needed in pace and energy but then wondered where that would leave us for Tuesdays game and beyond

The only hope Arsenal had with their defence is a shootout like against us.

In fact with their defence Emery's done a great job getting them where they are tbf. Awful defence.

People are rightly disappointed with the result. But, frankly, our squad has been badly affected by injuries in midfield and defence. And that has been exposed with games in quick succession.

We’re not challenging for the title because we’re just not good enough. But our position is remarkable considering our injuries and the stadium debacle.

Also Wolves are a good team. We were lucky to win at theirs.

Bringing on Skipp on not quite like having the option of bringing on Lamela, Dembele, Dier or Wanyama is it?

Is it?

Come on. Let go of your anger. It leads hate. Which leads to suffering.

Which is the life of a Spurs fan...

Liverpool can do one. There is a pro Liverpool agenda this year. Sky didn't even replay our peno appeal at Wembley this year.
