They wanted 40 million before, now they want a premium on top of that, time to move on.

Got 18 days before the window closes...

Might not be giving him enough credit but really doesn’t seem good enough to warrant all this fuss.

SUrely this isn’t just Bruce and Villa trying to save face with the fans?

Stevie has profited an awful lot from buying reasonably priced 'perimeter ' players from Tottenham-who he now labels as vultures

Bruce is reportedly close to being fired, with Thierry Henry replacing him, so these comments may ultimately be meaningless

We have a strong first 11 maybe 13 but we need too buy players that can get into that first 11 every week that will make a difference on the game especially when playing the top teams. This guy maybe one for the future but for F*CK sake we need to be buying qauilty players not so call good players

At the end of the day if Villa don't accept our offer/ valuation fair due we more on... There's no way Levy will put the club into trouble financially, we will pay what we can afford 100% sure on that. We won't be held to any ransom.

Villa imo are within reason to ask for 20-30M that is a reasonable range however if they are wanting the reported 40M that's is a bit far fetched however desperate or important the club sees Grealish we either pay them or move onto the next option.

I am confident with our squad as it stands going into the season anyway providing Rose and Lamela can stay fit and of course our usual suspects.

Bit of posturing IMO. Villa will be getting plenty of warnings of their own which will have far greater ramifications than this shit. They have to generate some funds of their own through sales to comply with FFP and have painted themselves into a corner.

Maybe not, I think Henry will want to keep his best players. Plus, even though he is unproven as a coach his stature as an ex player, might mean that Grealish will want to stay at Villa.
