Welcome to a new season of joy, heartbreak, excitement and frustration. All here in the new and improved SpursCommunity Predictor Competition for 2011/2012.

Myself and Cosmic Hotspur will be running this competition this year. :-D

The Rules (amended after last seasons debacle :lol: )

1 prediction per game per poster

Points will be awarded as follows;


Correct Score (Half-Time) = 5pts

Correct Score (Full-Time) = 5pts

Correct score in both = 5 Bonus pts

Correct 1st Half 1st goal scorer = 2pts

Correct 2nd Half 1st goal scorer = 2pts

Points are doubled for Domestic Cup Games

Points are trebled for Cup Games in Europe

BOBB: If anyone would like to suggest these throughout the season, be our guest.

After discussions with SM and on his behalf, this is just to confirm with his agreement that a correct 0-0 prediction won't score you any "no scorer" points.

Also agreed, once a match has kicked off no late predictions or BOBBS will be accepted or included in the table scores.

Like others, I wait to see the squads before doing mine and that can sometimes be getting close to match time so I'll be keeping an eye on that very carefully!

Your rules still have massive grey areas though...do you mean first scorer in each half or can we choose a number of scorers per half? If it's the latter I suggest that one can't choose more goalscorers than goals per half.

Very excited, makes the season seem real somehow, love this thread

Agree clarification on number of goalscorers we can list is needed... To list more players than the number of goals predicted just seems silly to me.
