Na just pointing out inconsistances. If someone makes a post criticising the team or the managet immediately after the match it's called knee jerk, whether the criticism is constructive or not.
Its only knee jerk if the complaints/criticisms/conclusions that the op has come to only really take into consideration the last 90 mins of football, and not looking at the bigger picture.

Thats obviously not the case with this thread, so its not knee jerk.
If we'd been complete cack all season, then get a result like last, then this thread was started, then it would be knee jerk.

This. I really don't understand how precious people get about a few negative posts, especially in real time.

It's a bit different when the same poster just keeps peddling the same bollocks over and over again which is annoying, but if random negative comments really upset your optimistic bubble that much then I suggest the internet isn't for you. Just go and surround yourself with a load of people who always share the same opinion as you instead and you'll have a better time.
I think it's a case of those people being really protective of the club, their heart is in the right place but it means that open discussion usually gets shut down fast.

Why though? I don't understand this mentality, and I grew up watching Spurs in the 90's...

I don’t know, just giving a reason why they might have been going mental at 2-0 down so quickly in to a big game away at one of Europe’s best sides

All this talk over the last couple of years of us needing to win a trophy, It must be spurring the players on, It really is to our advantage now. The more the players hear it, the more they must want to win something.

It's probably too soon to laugh about this, given all the suffering going on but I'd go mad if I didn't smile..anyone else been thinking that just when we invest so much in a new stadium to enable us to take the next step and really compete....we can't use it for like a year or two and it becomes a financial albatros? Ha true but it’s effecting every club and you could also look at it that all our players are back from injury and if / when things go back to ‘normal’ a lot of other clubs will have been hit a lot worse than us.
