What a difference it makes having a Right Back playing at RB, a DM as DM and a RM at Right Midfield.
Yes, we set out to defend but we did it well and frustrated the top team in the leauge on their own patch.
I had no confidence in the team getting anything from this game up untill I saw the lineup, same players almost, but the team looked balanced, and like following of English cricket would know, it isn't always so much about personel as it is about balance.
Ramos got everything right today, yes, we were slightly fortunate to get our goal, but we played our game and it paid off. The substitutions were perfect, and the lineup was perfect.
DZ may not be the best DM in the world, but he is the only one we have for now, and to play him anywhere else seems ludicrous especially as we have Gunter to play at RB.
It is now vital that we push on and gain 6 points from our next couple of games, and as it remains to be seen who will come in, we must play our players in their perfered positions.
I am heartend by the result which could have been so much different, and I know not all is perfect, but it is a good start, and it looks like lessons have been learned.
