You trying to take the piss ouf of what I said?

As I've said, both Ledley and Bale might be fit by the West Ham game. Why have you got Messi up front anyway? :duh:

I'm with Flatters.. Messi is a left forward in a three but a 442 you want him left wing to start with. be positive. he works hard enough... IF and only IF were lookign vulnerable defensively out wide then stick him upfront and bring on a more up n' down left sided player.

I agree completely. I don't think there's a better central defender in the world than Ledley.
I agree a little bit more than you i think.

ohhh flatters you online with Pro evo 8.. i challenge you. for the title of Ledley's no.1 fan (even though if i lose i'll still hold that title.. but we can pretend... i might even make a trophy)

edit: forget it you're PS3.. too rich for my blood.

Ledley may be fit for the West Ham game, but Ramos may let him play a reserve game to get him match fit. Hudd may need to lose weight and gain speed before he is in the first team. also had Hudd been picked for the U-21's this friday?

Would be fairly foolish to toy too much with a winning team.

But Paul Stalteri must play at some point.

Stalteri is not going to cut it under Romos, I believe. Romos prefers fullbacks who can attack, but Stalteri offers next to nothing going forward. He was given a chance against Hapoel but was out of the team against Wigan and I doubt he will ever feature unless Chimbo gets injured or rested.

I'd like to see the same team that beat Wigan with King and Bale on the bench. How awesome would that be!!!

-----------Robbo
Chimbonda Dawson Kaboul Lee
Lennon Huddlestone Jenas Bale
------Keane Berbatov

Mistakes or not Ramos will stick with Dawson we lack replacement options at present. Huddlestone is a much more effective passer than Zokora and Jenas can do the running for him. Malbranque is injured so hopefully a fit again Bale can step in for him.
I don't think Lee is playing particularly well but I don't think he will be dropped. Keane's goals if not his general play dictate a start for him. Thankfully the behavioural psychologists among our supporters have stopped commenting on Berbatovs demeanour so he should play if he can be bothered:)

Speak for yourself, Steve. The fact that he failed to celebrate his assists on Sunday with a triple back-somersault followed by a lap of the pitch fervently kissing the badge is for me clear evidence that he is deeply unhappy and wants out ASAP.

As we currently have only two fully functional CBs the back line will surely stay the same; I can't see King being back for this game, so the only possible change would be to have Chimbonda at CB alongside Kaboul or Daws and play Salty at RB.

I think Lennon and Jenas are pretty nailed-on. There seems to be some doubt as to whether Bale will be fit, but if he is JR has the option of switching Malbranque to CM. And there's Prince Bong, of course. The Hudd does seem to be out of favour.

One thing that does work in our favour is that with the obvious exceptions of Berba, JD, Keane, Robbo and Tainio every fit player is going to be available for training over the next two weeks (unless I've misread the fixtures list) so that JR will be able to get some serious work done.
