Can only imagine Poch wants a possession player who keeps the ball on the deck.

Not the fastest pace but clips show decent acceleration. He's quick in action and decision.

Excited about this - he dribbles incredibly well with both feet also sprays passes with both. Feel like it’s such a good trait to have in the prem where you’re constantly under pressure, he can move it and release on either foot without being put in a position of discomfort. He also seems to cover ground and be willing to make runs for his team mates to create space.

*dislaimer this is from a few vids on YouTube - I have watched one Celta game in my life

It’s been so long since we’ve had a central midfielder of this style. Honestly, probably my favourite type of player to watch. This signing would excite me.

I have no idea who he is but at this point I feel extremely positive anyways.

31 million for a total unknown and no prem experience against homegrown in grealish who would you pay the 30 million on?

I can't lie, barely seen him and he looks decent from the clips. 60-70 mil on this fella and Grealish - ouch.

Only Mateo Kovacic (93.7%) and Toni Kroos (93.1%) had a better passing accuracy than Stanislav Lobotka (91%) of all midfielders in La Liga last season.

They are completely different players. Lobotka played as a DM for most of the season. It would be extremely odd if it was an either/or situation, but I wouldn't put it past us because most of the time I have no understanding of our transfer strategy.

I’d imagine it isn’t both. This could well be the guy who is the reason Grealish isn’t first choice. I know he plays slightly deeper, but still would be surprised if we signed two players for that CM3.

Kinda makes me want Kovacic more if I'm honest but hey......Lobotka is a LOT cheaper so you can see why Levy would do it.

He looks a nice player and would definitely be worth having in the squad.

Yeah maybe. I don't know if they are at all similar though.

I’ve watched a 3 minute video of him and now I think he’s the new Modric and want Levy to spend the GDP of the Marshall Islands on him.

I did too but came to the opposite conclusion. Amos and Winks are better.

Struggles when doing anything but laying off a simple sideways/backward pass and seems to creep too far forward for his limited abilities.

It's a no from me. Capoue is better. Not what we need or want.
