Sorry if this is the wrong place but...

Was Spurs first game for Steffen Iversen an away game friendly against Woking?

Memories not as good as it was

Didn't he get a hat trick at roker park in one of his first games for us?

Always liked him but he liked his booze i believe? Was pretty limited by the time he left and he couldn't have been that old?

Hit the booze whenever he was injured. Which was a lot, as with all our good players those days.

The one season he was our top scorer, 99/00 I think it was, he was really good. Shame he couldn't stay consistently fit.

He was only 28 when he left us, yes. Had a good career back in Norway after that but when I met him last year he admitted his knees are completely fucked.

Two main memories of Iversen.

The first goal in a NLD win at the Lane ( Tim Sherwood actually scored the winner :D).

And then the winner at Selhurst Park against Wimbledon in the second leg semi final of the League Cup. One of the best away days I've had. Even though it was the away leg we basically took over the whole stadium.

I remember that winner against Wimbledon. Long ball up to him and he turned and scored a 25 yard shot. Think he might have got a double that day.

I also remember him getting sent off for making a wanker gesture at the ref and cupping his fingers round his eyes to suggest the ref needed glasses haha

Totally agree I went to both legs and was only a few rows back behind the goal when he scored.
And your right it was like a home game because we took over three quarters of the ground amazing.
