Had some great years for the club...and a couple to forget through injuries.

Alright, he left under a bit of cloud with most fans when he went to Newcastle and because of that became a very good right back for Tottenham in a load of rubbish teams rather than a Tottenham Legend of 10+ years.

But he did help Birmingham beat the Gooners in the League Cup Final!

'bit of a cloud' it was a lot more than that he came out with a stack bs around how he was joining a bigger club and
how he was progressing his career - it was 101 as to how not to handle a departure from a club that gave you your big break. This is why he was continually booed whenever he came back

At least he will have the free time now to polish the trophies he picked up at Newcastle.

Didn't he have a song.......to the tune of Kumbaya ??

I always seem to remember him running like he'd shat himself.

I hope he gets someone to help him carry all his medals to the car for the journey home. They must weigh a ton.

Was actually our best player for a season.

I think he's cursed every RB we've had since. They all only are decent for one season and then relplaced in the second.

Noe Paramot - good start, crocked.
Chimbonda - Top 1st, replaced soon after
Corluka - good start, slow and annoying 2nd
Walker - young player of the year, headless chicken of the year

He scored a peach of a goal for us against Utd, if I remember correctly, liked him as a player, but he should never have uttered those comments when leaving for Newcastle (even if that's what he thought at the time).

He'll still never outdo (who was it, Murphy?) who said he chose to sign for Charlton instead of Spurs as they were a club on the up (they'd been in the top flight a whole 4 yrs after all) and Spurs were on the way down. This was just weeks before DL started to get his shit together.

Still he had no connection to us at that point though so fair enough I guess.

Carr was the best full-back in the league for a season, he was really really good. Should never have gone to Newcastle, got conned there.
