Offside, but it doesn't fit with the BT Sport/MOTD narrative and so passed off as just an alternative truth. The same goes for Sané's handball: he made a movement that helped to control the ball, but we should pass over that.

He was not offside.

and should have been a penalty and a red card.
But you win some: you lose some.

If the foot was in the other boot we would be seething
and this thread would run to 500 pages

Now for a 97th. minute penalty
for a high boot when the player stooped to head
and our cup will surely have runneth over.

It was a pen, any other day of the week.

But then any other day of the week, Hugo would have headed clear, held the ball, and we'd have won 2-0. So tough tits. The rock n roll drama of the premier league goes on.
