Can confirm we have bids in for 3 players, and as Cher would say 2 out of 3 ain't bad.

Hoofharted got one thing right four summers ago because he knows Darren Bents family, but not sure he gets to go in the RO anymore.

2 strikers both have been mentioned before, not blue and yellow as far as I can make out, and a Central defender, and from what I understand we have been looking for cover at both full backs, but nothing on the radar.

Hopefully he gets to shine in the Championship and stays injury free - it would also be a bonus if Reading continued their good form and were still pushing for promotion too.

Has he confirmed this is ITK? Sounds like his opinion to me. I would have to agree with him if that is the case.

Peanut is pretty reliable when it comes to ITK so i'd gather from that statement that, for what N'Zogbia is going for, it's a deal we are potentially looking to do.

HH knew Bents family so was always spot on with that info. He does how ever have more contacts, just not as good as the Bent info was

Can I ask why a lot of people are taking Journalist's info as gospel. I'm sure there's no reason to doubt what he's saying and that he's passing on info in good faith, but equally is the same not true of others who have quite a strong reputation already?

I did come out and question some of it. But it is unfair, as I know how annoying it is to hear your stuff discredited or knocked. So i stopped. I think to be PC I will say just because he seems to know his stuff for other clubs, seems maybe Villa/West Mids, he mighthave someone with links to us, no more. At the end of day take it with salt as with all of us. Things change, and do WE REALLY know whats DL/HR is thinking ad planning?

The chances of us signing anyone is more reliable info from others to be fair. I'm still getting told that the chairmans on it

I personally think we've put it on hold and looking at options. I personally believe we are in a good position to decide which striker is best for us. It just a matter of time, but i think we have secured a good dealing position with a few targets.

who has said the deal has broken down? CM said its stalled, but we had agreed a price.

Think we'll get someone in by the end of the week ;-)
2-3 leaving by the end of the week too - FINGERS cross.

Hutton and GDS will be the likely candidates to leave this week, but maybe Jenas to Villa as well may spring a surprise.
