All men have secrets and here is mine, so let it be known...

Just taken a phone call from my work colleague as his source attended a sports dinner over the weekend in order to mingle with others of his type and there are a lot of rumours flying around with regarding all clubs, but he has told me some info this morning regarding Spurs.

Here we go, expect Tottenham to line up with the usual strike force for Everton and maybe until the very end of the window. Three striker targets, Adebayor, Rossi and llorente all have complications and all could play out until someone moves drastically to change things.

Adebayor, as i have said before still thinks Madrid is a possiblity and until this avenue is shut, we are unlikley to be able to get him. For anyone that thinks wages is an issue, yes they are to a point but not completely out of reach. we would be trying for a loan with a view to purchase. Remember we nearly got him in Jan, so is certainly possible but in negotiations sometimes the goalposts constantly move, so we will have to sit tight and see.

Rossi, For what i have been told this is/was our top target, but they hold all the cards at the moment and we would have to come up with some serious money to get him to WHL, again a lot of waiting and biding time going on regarding this one.

Llorente, i know there is conflicting ITK on this one with some thinking it is possible and others not so, but i have been advised that this could happen depending on the two above, he would be the easiest to acquire due to wages etc but again the initial purchase price would be sizeable.

This is the first time i have been given so much info, so i hope he is not winding me up, and is true to what he has advised. So far he has been right with info given to me regarding adebayor only to be backed up a few days later by ITK etc. If he is right then we have to sit tight on this and hope one of the above three come off, if not then i am sure there will be a plan b in place and then god only knows who we will go for

I wonder if the other "star of real madrid" is Varane on loan? Surely it can't be Benzema...

This is one of those bits of info that sounds really stupid but here goes anyway. I was at a BBQ with friends over the weekend and one has just got back from holiday where he met a lad from Wales who claimed to be one of Bale's mates. Now this bit pisses me off but he went to lengths to prove he knew GB by showing my mate photos on facebook and GBs phone number etc (I hope my mates aren't twats like this guy) anyway he told my mate that Bale has no intentions of leaving Spurs at any point. He feels like he owes the club for bringing him on and really likes the lifestyle that he's got at Tottenham. Not bothered by wages etc that he could get as he's happy with the £60k he gets now.

Obviously the guy could (if indeed he is Bales friend) have elaborated on the info but i seem to remember a few weeks ago somebody saying something similar (and my mate is a Utd fan so he wouldn't have just picked this up to WUM me). That's about as close as i'm going to get to ITK but it made me happy to hear so i thought i'd mention it.

I've not seen Lavezzi too much to know what type of player he is, thought he was an out and out striker?

Wilson has a Black Bentley although that could easily be another car he owns. My source has said a deal is close for Wilson to go to Stoke and it should be completed soon. There was a glitch on his signing on fee and a few other bonuses but it should be done.

Also my source has said Diarra is not done...Hopefully he is wrong on this one as im slightly worried that PSG might come in and blow us away in the last minute. A deal for us to sign Diarra is close but not done...

Had talks with Athletico on the weekend over Llorente and J.Martinez... Martinez is not for sale at any price but Llorente will go if we meet the price they want for him...

And once again as ive said already if Adebayor does join it will be a last minute deadline day deal on loan...

Cheers on Diarra stuff- Conflicking again! So many saying yes, and then two this morning saying not done. :shrug:

The info for Lavazzi could also related to the GFTS (Goals from the Side) comments that we had a while ago!

Certainly seems clear from the info i got over the weekend and the ITK since that we will all be a bit frustrated througout the window regarding a possible new striker.

But when you take a step back and realise that we are now trying to negotiate with some real top top players then it shows how far we have come as a club over the past few years. I know some of you are that desperate we could sign some random unknown from abroad and you would all be over the moon, but you have to realise because of how far we have come, we can only buy players that are better than what we have and in order to do that we have to step up a notch, deal in bigger wages, transfer fees etc and this takes a lot of time. I personally think that Adebayor could end up at Spurs in the final moments of the window, when RM close the door and Man City realise that he is too much of an expense to keep. Have faith

My dutch colleague who works in the media (Politics not Sport) just sent me a text saying they we are getting Brian Ruiz from Twente ..rates him very highly..

Just to point out on WIlson, He has not gone yet. He trained fully at the lodge this morning, and training didnt end till half 12. Unless he flew to Stoke, he wasn't having a medical as is being reported by some.

Completely agree, I wouldn't be too thrilled with Diarra, a new striker is our priority, unless we're working on a a double deal, say Diarra and Higuain, then I'm sure we wouldn't complain?

Well Diarra has been rumoured to bring his mate, I guess that could be anyone, you don't spend that long at a club without making a lot of mates. Gonzalo could well become a Yid, but then so could Kaka and many others!

I dont think he will sign for us, I'm just saying he is bringing his mate from RM, most probably everyone in their squad is his mate, damn, his mate could even be the water boy lol

OK, I don't know much about public companies, and trading and what not, but why does the last trade on the LSE have a delayed publication request? And what does that mean?

I never said we are after benzema, it was just a rumour that they picked up on.

The trade is relatively small in £ terms - so it means not a lot to TH Plc

The seller has requested that the 'trade''s publication be delayed (hence it was at 46p versus current price of 50p/share - reason could be any manner of reasons, a common reason maybe an employee of TH had some share options which matured and needed to sell to raise some cash to pay tax man but did not want the sale to show up immediately

Don't claim to be itk, however i know a scout who gets decent info from time to time, met him the other day after not seeing him for a long time

Just got a text saying We have now tabled an official bid for Rossi around the £27million pound mark.

He also did add that in his opinion he really couldn't see Rossi coming to us and giving up playing in the champions league

As i said i dont claim to be itk, just thought i would pass on what he told me, If i can ill try find out some more info.

Yes, gfts related to Mata, I've told one of you lot by PM before it came out in the public, I also stated our interest in Lavezzi right at the very start of the window.

GFTS is clearly showing the type of target we are after and although Mata is first choice, we are obviously looking at alternatives, such as Lavezzi.

Don't really feel I should be reading some of these posts but oh well.

Very serious. We wouldn't be pursuing if we didn't think we had a chance. However as has been said it's a very hard sell, will drag on, wouldn't say it's likely though.
