It didn't feel that way at all, Stoke were pressing hard but then lost steam as the game went on. If anything they gave us far more of a game than you'd expect for a team with sod-all to play for.
All our players came out of this game intact. Even that thug Adams only rugby tackled Lamela - thats his way of saying hi. Maybe stoke are different this season, but in previous season if we'd humiliated them like that, they would have been kicking lumps out of us.

Fabregas face was an absolutely beautiful sight after the interview with Kane and Alli last night.

He looks absolutely disgusted by what he's witnessed

That was an odd game - with that early goal we were playing on the break for most of it.
As a result, our possession and passing stats are not that impressive.
It was good to see Kane and Alli more involved - they've had a handful of touches the last few games.
Great result, but I dont think this stoke side were up for it at all.
Job done all the same.

Stoke played as well as we let them.

Thats why to some who watched proceedings it may have appeared that theuy were not up for it.

Apparently there was a bit of handbags between Lamela and Dier yesterday when Lamela had that shot on the left-hand side. Lamela shouted 'shut up' and Spurs players had to separate them.

Yeah I saw him shout at someone, this is good though isn't it?

From the Spurred On YouTube channel- someone who was at the game. Also saw people saying the same on Twitter after I heard it. I'm sure it's just passion and they were all celebrating the goals/after in the dressing room so it's fine.

I can't even remember the incident, 1st or 2nd half?

I'm sure you know exactly whom I just read that out to!

And I'm almost as sure who doesn't know you posted that. What's it worth to you not to tell? ;)

I hope M and the baby and the match all go perfectly.

I did actually make a similar comment to her, tongue in cheek and survived to tell the tale. In the end everything did go perfectly, although she wasn't happy I was watching the game last night after dinner on our seventh wedding anniversary.

What I loved was the interchanging of passes between Kane, Eriksen, Alli and Lamela. Whenever one receives the ball, they are looking to play someone else in and the movement around them is so good right now. All 4 players were presented with at least one 1-on-1 from one another and you can look at that front 4 before a game and say that they're gonna create chances for each other. At first I wouldn't have been so sure, Eriksen could be invisible, Alli wasteful, Lamela hot and cold but they've all improved so much and the connection between the 4 is improving too.

Totally. For anyone that has played a team sport you'll know that the moment you walk off the pitch victorious in the way we did, anything like that is completely forgotten. Conversely, each win like this is strengthening the camaraderie within the team. I could even imagine Lamela and Dier laughing about this post game.

Exactly this.

Arguments and bitching between 3 and 5, hugs and drinks down the pub from 8.

I'm hoping our players don't hit the pubs at 8pm, however. :ROFLMAO:

For what it's worth, in the second half of the United game Toby absolutely unleashed at Lamela at 0-0 after somewhat forgetting to fulfil his defensive duties. It obviously didn't affect either as about 10 minutes later Lamela landed the ball directly on to Toby's head. (y)
