Kane in for Lamela as expected. Hard choice, he's been excellent recently. Interesting to see how the rotated full backs do. When was the last time Vic started?

First time in ages that Dier has be rested! Nice to have the option to rotate. Just hope this is the Wanyama of last season rather the rather irratic one who has played in the cups this season!

Interesting. Wasn't expecting Aurier and Rose to play (although I do want them to play against City) and Dier's been rested it seems.

Unexpected changes but glad to see Wanyama back in the fold and Kane back. Rose and Aurier both have a point to prove too.

With Klopp dropping a bollock over his negative line up today, win this and our game in hand and a top 3 finish is looking rosier by the day.

So what will Stoke's tactics be?

Park the bus and hit it long for their forwards to catch us on the break?

If so an early goal is key here, as it would deflate them and we could rack up some nice goal-difference capital

Easy to forget just how outstanding Wanyama was for us before his injury. Not quite at that level yet, but not far off on recent displays.

Go 1 goal better than the customary 4-0 win and we shall be 3rd on goal difference should the Merseyside game end in a draw.

Not surprised at all, expected rotation and full backs is obvious choice. Also giving Dier a rest is good, if of course Wanyama is ready and Poch feels he is. Yes I expected Kane to start to get him back in golden boot contention. Difficult choice but it had to be Lamela or Son. But great options off the bench.

Early goal is crucial here. If we get one it could be a cricket score. Fail to and it could be a frustrating afternoon

Still a strong side for Spurs even with the absence of Lamela and Dier and the two FB's. Stoke will try to defend and hit on the counter. We should win this but it will be a tough game until we wear them down. If we get an early goal it will help.

We’ve expected tough games the last few times we’ve played them but keep spanking them lol
