So many chiefs in the kitchen now with Baldini, Mitchell and Broomfield. Be interesting to see if he has an impact on anything and also how much time is expected before we see changes.

Is it me on has this bloke just sailed on Koeman's signings and managed to sell himself as a Transfer Guru.

He's been in the job since 2012 and the trio of great youngsters sold of Bale, Oxlade Chamberlain and Walciott were sold before that.

I don't understand what he would bring to the table?

JayRod, Davis, Clyne, Lovren, Tadic, .....not bad when he's only been in the job two years.

Perhaps Mitchell's skill is more as an analyst - advising on the opponents' strengths and weaknesses as well on as his own team. The youtube about their new training facility suggested this.

Maybe MP just needs someone he trusts to tell him how to make the most of a squad that by his own words should be challenging for the title.

I'm all for signing anyone who manages to get our players playing to their strengths and if Mauricio has confidence in Mitchell, then welcome to W.H.L.

Im pretty confident Clyne and Jay Rod were recommended by Nigel Adkins and Loveren was MoPo suggestion but as someone as said if PM offers more on the analytic side then I'm all for it.

From what I have read about Mitchell, he sounds more like a guy who will head our player recruitment, and be responsible for making sure scouts like Broomfield have the tools they need to properly evaluate players.
