So Sugar wasn't happy with AVB and went on his petty little media hate campaign, while suggesting his friend Fergie take over(!). He then wanted Sherwood in and somehow supports Levy who axed him, while preaching patience with Poch, who's getting worse results than AVB. Do us a favor Sugar... you've shown your ass, now STFU and GTFO!

Put like that he sounds about right.

Who bought the players? Sugar knows fuck all about football, about as much as Levy. Levy should let the football people at the club deal with the football and concentrate on the business side!!

As far as I'm aware the majority of fans are more than willing to give Poch time and they seem to be waking up to ENIC's/Levy's agenda!

Which point do you disagree with?!! And why. Judging by comments on here, it seems to me mist understand what is going on at the club!!

Are you arguing with yourself now? I'm already finding it hard enough to follow.

Don't agree that ''the majority....are waking up to ENIC's/Levy's agenda''. Think most are sensible enough to know they have made Spurs better and are trying to benefit the club plus the grass isn't always greener.

The point I'm trying to make, obviously not very clearly and I've said it before, is that ENIC are in it for profit and that alone, IMO, they're not bothered about winning silverware, it we do then it will be a by product, a bonus. What's important to them is raising the global profile of the club by way of CL qualification, thus maximising their investment. Jeez, they've already made the club worth at least 4 times what they've put in!! And think more and fans are beginning to see it this way. That's my opinion.

What should they do different to guarantee silverware?

It's not about guaranteeing silverware, there are no guarantees, it's about the quest, the glory of winning trophies and it appears to me that ENIC aren't interested in that, only CL qualification which duly guarantees the club global exposure and cash!! Do you really want to be like ar5ena1?!!!

So I ask it different, what different should they do to show they want to win silverware and have that 'quest'?

Let the manager choose the players he wants/needs to fit his philosophy/system, not the cheaper options and generally keep his schnoz out of the football side of things. Also this player trading system he seems to have, buying to sell at a profit, is fuckin infuriating!!

What's the point of being a football club if you don't strive for glory? Answer me that UbeAstard!!

I think we do strive for glory, we have been following a model which has won silverware and bought glory for overseas clubs. I'm not commenting on how well it works here or not, but if the club has seen it bring success overseas and because of our failures before this want to try it, I don't think your example is evidence this club doesn't want silverware. I think you're wrong.
We are now in an era where winning silverware will habitually be restricted to about 4 or 5 clubs. Can you not see why a club with less resources would try something to break into that lot?
