Gabriel is highly rated in Brazil. I work with a few Brazilians and they all reckon he could be as good as if not better than Neymar with time. Not much but opinion, But would be interesting to see how well he adapts in Germany.

Luckily we've got CL as a very big carrot. Spam have nowt and a stadium that looks like pair of briefs.

Yeah, I agree it helps. It's just the compensation that it'll require to get the players we would want to bolster our squad will likely be too pricy for us.

It's going to be harder than ever to lure away Players from Premier League sides.

I'm hoping the rest of the PL clubs have agreed not to sell to WH unless it's for a market value that reflects the advantage they've got for paying naff all for that stadium.

IYSWIM - Someone will probably word that much better than me as i've had beer...

I imagine they would like at least 1....

I mean they have Carroll but there is a 50% chance he hurts himself walking across the car park.

Carroll, Valencia & Sakho. I thought Eminike was a permanent deal, but it's only a loan.

West Ham United are delighted to confirm that Norway international midfielder Havard Nordtveit will join the Club on a free transfer on 1 July.

The Borussia Moenchengladbach man will leave the German side upon the expiration of his contract, with the Hammers having beaten off competition from several top European outfits to land their man.

Nordtveit, 25, signs on a five-year deal and returns to London six years after leaving Arsenal to join Monchengladbach
