Thauvin can play there, Ntep, Nolito, Pedro & Deulofeu.
The only LWF's I want are Griezmann, Jese or Muniain and neither of the 3 will ever happen.
Oh, I'll take Pedro in a heartbeat too, but he's an even longer shot.

Cant fucking believe NYCFC is probably going to have a better CM3 this season than us. Mind boggling. No matter the age, Lampard and Pirlo are both alot better than Bentaleb and Mason. Doesnt matter if Dembele or Eriksen is better than Diskerud because that doesnt make up the difference between the former.

Pirlo and Lampar might be old and past their primes but their still better than what we have.

It's hard to disagree with you, mate. They're both exceptional players.
I do think we have a bit of a super star on our hands in Bentaleb, though. Plus, Mason has only just finished his first full season after his bad injury record. I don't think he as as much potential as Nabil but I still think he'll progress into a good player.
I think Bentaleb might end up being one of the best CM's we've had in our history. He is going to be an absoutle star. NEED to lock him up long term. Mason is a squad player, IMO.

I'm not sure how old you are but I don't think he will.
Sideways player with a good engine, tidy does'nt score or create.
Bentaleb is going to be an amazing player. He's 19. Give him time.

Whilst I agree both Pirlo and Lamps still have a lot they can give to a team and also I'm not a big fan of either Bentaleb or Mason if we are to continue playing 4/2/3/1 a pairing of Lamps and Pirlo simply couldn't cut it. Now I'm not saying Bentaleb and Mason cut it particularly well but both have the engine and the work rate necessary.
I's much rather we had three in midfield and I'd rather we have CM's with far more quality then either but in a two man mid a team is going to need players with the stamina
Hopefully if we stick with 4/2/3/1 we will get two upgrades in CM but I think it's harsh to compare players playing very different roles in different teams playing a different shape and style

While I rate Carrick hugely and to this day even when he gets credit argue that he is completely underrated, he was still not one of the best CMs we've had in our history. And I think/thought he is/was bloody fantastic.
