I'd personally be happy with the prospect of signing Zaha. I'm not too fussed about fees, but I'd hope the wages were lower than his supposed contract offer at Palace (which is what makes the whole thing unlikely IMHO).

I was one of those supporting the Wanyama move and I think this could be just as successful. Has great attributes and has really stepped up this year, I believe Poch could improve him further still. Scary pace and decent trickery, started to rekindle his finishing from his early career too. Questions on his vision and final ball but would have plenty of options with Kane, Dele, Son, etc... around. ACN the biggest downside.

I'd also be interested if Poch could experiment with him at RWB if we continue to use 3-4-2-1 often. He could be a better version of Moses.

First time watching de Ligt.

What a player he looks, and only 17! Seriously commanding performance for someone so young.

If KWP is struggling to get into the England U20 squad, I think he might not be ready...
Look at the best English players in the game right now and then look at how many youth England games they played.

It often doesn't correspond with the actual talent of the player.

I don't disagree with your point (Edwards has been well represented already), but maybe a poor example if you look at our current crop:

Rose - 55 appearances
Kane - 34 appearances
Walker - 14 appearances
Dier - 24 appearances
Winks - 28 appearances

Then look up the crap players and you'll notice they have as many or more.

Other than Rose that's not actually that many appearances.

Well someone already did Mark Noble so there you go.

That's literally the exact opposite to what you said though lol.

You said that the current/best English players didn't have many caps.

Of course the conversion rate going the other direction is terrible.

Anyway, moving on
