wish for new fans please, requirements:

-Mental strength
-Doesn't throw toys out their prams when we suffer a setback
-Not over expectant or spoilt
-Realistic
-Patient
-Knows how to spell our player's names

Best part is that we don't need to spend any money.

Reckon we could find a few if we scout around, what do you reckon? :woot:[/QUOTEwow

We need a lacazette, honestly, even if its the only deal we can do. We lack a pace up front, or a LW or RW with pace and trickery

Lyon rejected a 29M bid from the scum last summer. Why would we think we'd have a better chance to get him? His value will go up, Gunners will be more desperate for him. he's French. He's practically theirs already, unless he's waiting for CFC, City, Real or Barca to come in with more $$$ or the chance of winning with a glamorous club. He's not for us.. he's one of those players that's out of our reach atm.

And to add to that, Poch has said 'we need to be clever' in the transfer market, so when you add in the clusterfuck singings we've had lately, Levy's had his fingers burnt I'm thinking he's thinking, so we are more likely to go for a young, raw unknown player rather than a world class one. This is what I think will happen now.

29m is nothing in today's market. Jordan Rhodes worth 10m. It is Arsenal's inability to put real money to buy him to match the price tag

- Left back back up with Pace (It seems that KWP can player left back as well, but I will prefer the like of Sessegnon in Fuham)
- A CB
- Isco-like player who can breakthrough defense/dribble
- A Lamela/Eriksen backup
- Not sure whether we need a new backup striker, depending on how Poch judges Janssen's potential.

We need to quit pussyfooting around with bringing in a player similar to Mane. I don't have the time like I used to to follow world leagues and track these dudes, but there's one out there. Quit this shit for the future, or guys who provide some of the elements, just open the bank and focus on getting such a player in. Sick of watching us fumble over this stupid issue we should've solved years ago.

Well there will be one hell of at atmosphere at the lane when only 10 fans (that meet your criteria) turn up to game. ;)

Why are people so keen to sell Davies? He's a solid and dependable cover for Rose, and very rarely lets us down.

But sure, lets swap him for some flavour of the month teenager....

It is exactly the same situation with Trippier, the guy has been superb whenever he's come into the team, KWP has done nothing to show he's ready to take on his role. Trippier is vastly more experienced, to trade one for the other would be a massive downgrade.

We've currently got the best full back options in the league. We aren't going to throw that away on a whim.

If people think MoPo is going to gamble with the team like that, then they've been playing too much Football Manager.

For me it's simple. We play two quick full backs who have bags of energy and like to get forward on the shoulder of the last defender at every opportunity.

In Trippier we have a backup player who can play this role. In Davies we don't. I like Davies and think he's a good player but our team changes a lot when he plays instead of Rose.

Hence why I feel a more suitable backup is required.

I do have a summer transfer wish actually.
Reduce the number of players we sign who end up as highly flawful signings.
We sign and sign and sign players, all kinds of names left of field, right of field, hardly ever been ON the field.
We don't need more "maybe he'll come good in 2025"-players. I just want one single signing that with reasonable likelihood
could become a given part of the most trusted and reliable attacking players.
The reason why we haven't taken the step all the way to be in the title race with an absolute, tangible and massive shot is only down to transfer business over the last summers.

I liked the look of Leandro Paredes who we were 'linked' to. Skillful, strong tackler, good passing range and great close control. Not getting much pitch time at Roma but they have quality in midfield. He's Argentinian as well for what it's worth. Looks like a good cover/eventual replacement for Dembele. Ryan Sessegnon is the other one I like the look of but I wouldn't see him getting past Danny Rose any time soon. I think Poch would release his potential. Might need to at least look at another striker if Janssen continues to struggle but I think he'll come good eventually, so an old warhorse might do the trick in the meantime. Dendoncker and Tielemans are good prospects too. Much as I like Isco, I don't really want any dealings with RM.

Would love to know which idiot passed on Moussa Dembele for £6 million from Fulham and instead went for Janssen... While I am at it why didn`t we try and sign Ousmane Dembele also he has looked great for Dortmund.
I know, hindsight's awesome, right?

I bet it was the same idiot who took a punt on Wanyama at 11M the silly fucker

I do feel we need a veteran, experienced talisman player who knows about winning shit. As generally awesome as we are right now (cups notwithstanding ) i feel we really need this, the winning mentality is weak still I feel.

How many 'veterans' could deal with the intensity of Pochettino's system?

Because Davies is a very different style full back to Rose and when he comes in it creates in imbalance as there's no one creating width on the left.

I really don't know, but (and these are NOT the one's im suggesting at all obviously) the likes of Ronaldo and Bale are said to be in immense physical condition and incredibly hard working ... and i wager would stand up to Poch's supposed intensity. So surely others too but i personally have no clue as to how any top players behave in training etc so it's just a general observation, and assumes that the 'talisman' quality is primary in this suggestion rather than ability to run indian file all day long

I got a sneaking feeling that these 3 will be signed up in the summer, and pretty early (ish). This is my opinion and nothing else. Rodriguez, Zaha, Barkley.
