I'd happily take mahrez here but I think that he's already on £100000pw rules him out for us

Was a guy on talk sport early this morning who was a Leicester fan and he was raving on about someone called grey .
Never heard of him any good?

Exactly. He had a season-long purple-patch, but does that justify a £40m price tag?

We can't afford to make signings like that - though we could, just about I think, splash £40m on one player.

How about Mbappe to Real, Bale to Spurs ?

Bale wouldn't fit the ethos of this team, he's incredibly lazy without the ball. The only way Bale could possibly work was if we were bringing him to replace Kane's role.

if we were playing with a back 4 he would be amazing in that 3 behind kane.

Just got a stiffy thinking about it.

While all the press is banging on about mbappe, i'd be seriously looking at Thomas Lemar think he's the real deal.

There is really nothing to suggest Mahrez is anything like Adebayor though. He, like many of the Leicester players struggled to come to terms with the "what happened next" part of their "fairytale". Obviously the difficulties with Ranieri and the dressing room didn't help. He's also had to come to terms with teams doubling up on him, and trying to stop him play.

Which is exactly what will happen with him at Spurs as ALL EPL teams park the bus when playing Spurs.
It's not uncommon for players who's had a very good 1st seaons (in top leagues around Europe) to have a relatively weaker 2nd season.

Ops :)
Yes, I remember some people on here wanted Spurs to sign him 2 summers ago. Even if he hadn't done well for Spurs it would have weakened the Leicester team so much that Spurs would have won the EPL last season. Oh well, restrospection is such a wonderful thing

Just found out that Leon Bailey, a player I was keen for Spurs to sing, has joined Leverkusen. He's still young and raw though so let's see how he'll do in the Bundesliga.

That's if Bayern stay up... 3 pts above the relegation zone.

I mentioned him after the first Monaco defeat and said we should have just paid £20 million for him two years ago instead of wasting our time on njie and nkoudou and I got grief. I bet people would think differently now.

2 years ago he was a nobody and probably on the same level as Nkoudou and Njie.

Already got into a spat of controversy in Germany with a boxer.
