Bit harsh on Dolberg. The kid is only 19 years old, had a wonderful season but very little service today...

Not just basing it on today, in other games too. He scores goals but there's not too much about him and I don't know he will cut it in the big leagues, I'm probably wrong though.

He is fast strong and young, but his positioning is terrible

De Ligt on the other hand has outstanding positioning for such a young player

The left back, Reidewald is naturally a CB, and I'd say a better option for us too

Said it in another thread but I really like De Ligt. Knew when to get tight, when to step across people, when to drop off. Confortable on the ball and decent pace for a centre half. I think he'd be good enough to come in and play straight away.

De ligt and Sanchez are going to reach the highest level imo. Dolberg and Klassen are overrated.

That's because they had to play against a team that parked the bus all game. The CB didn't have to defend much, and Dolberg was constantly surrounded by MU players

Dont think thay sanchez would suit our play, looks strong, but is a terrible passer of a ball (Sakho like player). We like defenders to play out and start attacks (toby and jan are insane at this).

Davinson is actually very good with the ball, just didn't see it today because Manchester united were very compact in midfield.

Been saying for a week or so, Riedewald could be the ideal replacement for Wimmer if he goes. Primarily a LCB but also comfortable at LB and DM. Ideal. Could cover Jan and Wanyama. Not too fussed about LB if we have Rose, Davies and maybe Sessegnon.

As for Veltman, did he play RB? How did he do, as I thought he was a CB by preference. Could he be Walker's replacement, or a RCB option, or both rolled into one?

De Ligt reminds me of younger Vertonghen. Certainly a top class player there.
I will settle for Veltman this summer window for a RB, 3rd CB.
Klassen - Nope

Ive seen him a few times too, and always felt his body shape makes for awkward passing (like Sahko of Liverpool). Still a strong player whose young, and would fit into another teams system.

Riedewald - no based on that game. First goal down to his stupid throw in.
Veltman - Played as RB today. Beat Mkhitaryan thrice in 1st half. He sat back in 2nd half comparitiviely. But he does looks to be good player. Will do a job for us at RB or if Dier is injured to fill in the RCB

Yes, specially when he back passed to the keeper in the second half with something that looked more than a rugby kick off than football.

I don't see what it has to do with how Man U played if he made bad passes in defence

The reason we can play 3 at the back so well is because the wide centre backs can play at fullback and are very good technically, would be happy with Veltman.

Is in same position as Toby in no-one thought he would progress so far

Riedewald isn't good enough (yet). He wouldn't be an improvement or even an adequate replacement for what we already have.

DeLigt was absolutely outstanding - leading the defence at 17 years old.... that's ridiculous. Seriously rated him.

Thought the other stand out for them was Sanchez, plenty about him and excellent closing speed.

Thought Veltman was good but he aint a right back. IMO he might be a touch short for a CB in the EPL....

Others showed flashes and some have interesting potential but no one else really stood out enough for me.

So there's room there to go
RB - Trippier, Veltman, Walker-Peters
RCB - Dier, Carter-Vickers, (Veltman)
CB - Alderweireld
LCB - Vertonghen, Wimmer?, (Davies)
LB - Rose, Davies, Sessegnon
