He was holding his own when he used to play that role before, briefly for us, England and MK. An Alli Dier partnership in CM would work well imo.

I wouldn’t play either in a cm2, but both could easily play in a 3 with a pure anchor behind them. Did you ever foresee De Bruyne and Silva in central midfield?

couldn't agree more, being told we'd go big in the summer, and granted its only the rags, but the links dont suggest its gonna be the superstar/s that were alluded too.
