I would put a cheeky bid in for Anders Herrera, he is tenacious and technically good, flexible as well.

I would also still be going for Mawson, as well, the more we play three at the back we need another CB, I am one of the few who see Dier as a CM before CB.

Also of course an Eriksen back up. Haven't seen this malcom kid play but he sounds like the type. Isco would have been perfect.

So wishlist Mawson, Herrera and Isco.

isco no chance as he signed a new contract and became a key player for madrid
herrera no chance considering he is under yanited and mourinho
not sure if we are still interested in mawson after we signed davinson

GK: Lloris, P Lopez, Gazzaniga

RB: Aurier, Trippier
CB: Alderweireld*, Vertonghen, Sanchez, Foyth
LB: Rose*, Davies

DM: Dier, Wanyama
CM: Dembele, Winks, Ndombele

AM: Eriksen, Dele, Son, Malcom, Moura, Lamela*

ST: Kane, Arp

Sell: Vorm (end of contract), Sissoko, Nkoudou, Janssen, Llorente
Loan: Walker-Peters, Carter-Vickers, Onomah, Edwards

I've starred Alderweireld, Rose and Lamela as potentially all could move on in the summer. I'd ideally like to keep them all, but they've been linked with moves away/have contract issues, and would need to be replaced (CB: De Vrij; LB: Sessegnon/Aaron/Chilwell; AM: Maddison).

Another conundrum is Dembele. As we saw yesterday, when he’s at his best, few are better. But how long will he be able to maintain that level? He’s turning 31 this year, and will only have 12 months left on his contract in the summer. I hope we keep him, offer him a further year, and save him for the big games. But we need to bring in another box-to-box midfielder IMO. We’ve been linked with Kondogbia, but Ndombele of Lyon would be my pick. He’s Dembele-esque in terms of skill and power, with arguably more dynamism and creativity going forward. He’d cost a pretty penny though. De Jong at Ajax looks a very good talent too, albeit more defensively-minded than Ndombele.

Ndombele?!?

Is that a real player?!? :joyful:

Nothing is certain in football. How many "wonderkids" have fallen by the wayside?
I would love to get him but only for the right price. We are not city or utd that can spend £50m and if it doesn't work out not give a fuck.
Nothing is certain, but Sessegnon is as close to a sure thing as you will ever find. For £50m, I would still pull the trigger, the way transfers are going it will look incredibly cheap within a year.

Highly doubt Sessegnon is going to cost £50m unless there are multiple teams actually willing to enter an auction for him, perfectly understandable if Fulham have set the price that high but if we're the only team for him he won't go for that much, it depends who bites at the figure.

So this list of out of contract players is somewhat intriguing

If we need a squad player or two, there are some cracking choices in here:

I'm not familiar with all of the players listed, but a few that stood out for me...

- Luke Shaw
- Giorgio Chiellini
- Fernando Torres
- Iker Casillas
- Joao Moutinho
- Neven Subotic
- Max Meyer
- Mark Uth

**Disclaimer; the article was published a month ago, so not sure if any of the listed players have actually resigned for their, or another club since then**

I think Luke Shaw's contract was extended.

Maddison, Sessegnon, Malcom with maybe a top drawer CM to replace Dembele eventually.

Sell Janssen, GKN, Llorente, Sissoko, CCV and begrudgingly Lamela. Vorm will go too. Onomah on loan to a Prem team if they'll have him too. Ditto for Edwards.

Keeping all our main players and getting them all signed up to new contracts is mine.

That and a new central midfielder in capable of replacing dembele adequately.
