Realistically, we're looking at quite a few changes in the squad if we get our valuations met. And, some of these won't be insignificant sales such as an Nkoudou or Llorente. Alderweireld and Danny Rose could be a huge amount of money coming our way. On top of that we have Moussa Sissoko and possibly one of the RBs (If we decide KWP deserves the back-up spot).

For the sake of my "wish list," for this scenario let's imagine we've sold Aldweireld, Rose, Nkoudou, Llorente and Sissoko.

My Targets:
Amadou Diawara: Makes a ton of sense and the guy has a ton of ability. Replacing Sissoko (if we view Moussa as a CM), is an enormous upgrade and I think with Diawara and hopefully a health Winks backing up with the triumvirate of Dier/Dembele/Wanyama, we'll have a lot of quality in the midfield.

Lautaro Martinez: Super skillful player, young, Argentinian and in my opinion, getting a player like him would be an enormous coup. I believe Atletico Madrid was in for him, and for me that is a ringing endorsement for his talent. I love his skillset to backup Kane as it'd offer us something a little different; something I thought Ben Yedder could have offered us a few years back. (Sidebar: @Ossie85 : Have you heard any rumors regarding a transfer for him?)

Alex Telles: Fits what we want in a LB perfectly. Bombs forward, is a decent defender and would offer some playmaking ability out wide in the overlap. There's a 35m release clause in his contract, and after a sale of Rose, that'll be a savvy move.

James Maddison: I want this move to happen because I think we need a player that can drift between attack and midfield. We saw the havoc that created during the Man City match, and I love Maddison's ability on the ball in advanced positions as well as when he plays a little closer to midfield.

These moves won't be cheap. We're looking at a significant outlay for each of those 4 listed above. But, you pay for quality now, and the good news is if our sales work out, we might actually end up pretty close to an 0 net spend window.

I hope we are very brutal with our outgoings this year, if we want to be challenging for titles we need replace our back up players as our depth still isnt good enough in some very important areas.

I agree on Diawara and Maddison. Martinez is headed to Inter and i think Telles might be to expensive for us with his release clause.

We could easily get £60m for Aurier and Trippiers combined. Buy a top draw RB and KWP as cover. Won’t happen but should.

Kwp should have been trippier back up this season imo. Would we have been any worse off??

I hear a lot of this on here and maybe I'm remembering this wrongly but walker was a good player before Poch arrived. He won young player of the year in his first season did he not & was being linked with Madrid for a couple of years. He then dropped off a bit & there was improvement under Poch but he was a good player & England international.
I'm not saying sell him this soon but i'm not sure Serge is going to make it, hope I'm wrong of course.

He's been an automatic starter when healthy for every manager he's played for since he was loaned to Sheffield at age 18. I agree with you.

Fullbacks and CM need to be upgraded. I think RB can be handled with Aurier being the full-time starter. Davies while he's been good most of the season, just isn't the dynamic player that Rose used to be for us. We thrived when Walker and Rose were bombing down the field for 90 minutes, and we just don't have that this year. Also, I'm not necessarily saying that we need to upgrade Dembele but we need another option from the center of the field who is a pass first player who doesn't spend a lot of time on the ball.

I think we'll sell Trippier ( make a handsome profit) and have Aurier and KWP battling for the RB position. Also remember that both with be the team for the full pre-season schedule as well.

I saw that regarding Inter/Martinez. From what I'm seeing, only 22m, too. Unfortunately, Serie A/Inter still holds some allure.

As for Telles, I think that's a deal we would definitely do if we sell Rose.

Er...okay. :rolleyes::LOL::LOL::facepalm::facepalm::facepalm::stop::stop::stop:
It's very simple. In fact, here's a list.

GK to replace Lloris
GK to replace Vorm

RB to replace Trippier
RB to replace Aurier

LB to replace Rose
LB to replace Davies

CB to replace Alderweireld

CM - Dembele back-up
CM - All-rounder

CAM - Eriksen alternative

Winger - More Pace

Striker - Llorente replacement

In fact, my previous post was conservative. To truly compete on all fronts, I believe 12 players are required in the Summer Window.
