I think we already have the Dembele replacement his name is Christian Eriksen, move him back into CM where he dictate the game like KdB. Put an enforcer like Wanyama next to him and we free up a space further forward for an incoming to be our Hazard / Salah type.
We do have dembeles replacement but it's not eriksen.. Its tashan Oakley booth?.. Your good enough your old enough.

#thfc have extensively scouted many left-backs this season including Ryan Bertrand, Kieran Tierney and Layvin Kurzawa. [Daily Mail]

Don't want Kurzawa, Would feel neutral towards Bertrand and Tierney is probably the biggest prospect of the three.

Kane wasn't good enough? ..winks isn't good enough etc.. Blah blah blah. Anyone with eyeballs can see he's something else.
He isn't even the best mid in his team; Skipp is a star already. We also have Paris Maghoma after them and obviously Onomah who I'd give the chance to first.

I also agree with moving Eriksen and Dele back to CM in a 4-3-3 which I think is Onomah's best position anyway; like Pogba at United. We might well have the cover already in the starting 11 and also Onomah, Skipp and the other youth CMs. I'd like Diawara or kovacic though because I'm greedy

It's very simple. In fact, here's a list.

GK to replace Lloris
GK to replace Vorm

RB to replace Trippier
RB to replace Aurier

LB to replace Rose
LB to replace Davies

CB to replace Alderweireld

CM - Dembele back-up
CM - All-rounder

CAM - Eriksen alternative

Winger - More Pace

Striker - Llorente replacement

In fact, my previous post was conservative. To truly compete on all fronts, I believe 12 players are required in the Summer Window.
ffs 13 players now that dembele is going

A 433 with Dier / Wanyama anchoring and Eriksen-Dele combo is something I’ve wanted for ages but I just don’t think it’ll happen. Eriksen and Dele both get more space to attack, to create, to interchange, while they both do more than enough running for it too, but that’s more a Guardiola thing than a Pochettino thing sadly. It also has the benefit that both Winks and Onomah could comfortable slot in to that formation and be far more effective than Winks in a CM2 or Onomah in an AM3. Keep Sissoko OR Dembele as the experienced option so that we have depth.

Will never happen though.

Not really. I’ve watched him quite a few times, and I can’t see anything special. A lot of the guys in the youth thread who watch age group teams a lot more than me are puzzled to why he was fast tracked by Poche. Now Skipp on the other hand, he could be something...

If Poch doesn’t adapt, then he’s never going to progress as a manger.

From what I hear, and to be very frank, there is a growing list, mostly young. Da Legit is one that we are really keen on. That all depends on the Toby situation (exit very likely). RS, still very high, of not tops of our wishes

Poch has to get this right with his choices. LB is a key area, along with ACM, and forward to replace Llorente. I can’t see Rose leaving, due to his personal situation.

A bit worrying. To me, CM and RB are two areas we need strengthening the most.

Personal situation of Rose? As in injuries? And obviously if you can't elaborate then no bother at all!

Clement Lenglet would be a great signing for us being a young, experienced left footed CB that can be an eventual Verts successor (not to mention his reported 26m release clause) With Barca and Liverpool linked, I have a feeling he could end up at 'pool though due to the fact he could walk straight into the starting XI alongside VVD (same could happen with de ligt, no?) Like everyone else I obviously rate De Ligt but with the way Pochettino likes to play isn't it worrying to have 3 right footers (Sanchez, De Ligt, and Foyth and only one left footer in Verts)? Surely it would block Foyth's development at the least.
