I WILL PUT IT OUT THERE NOW!!!

THEY ARE AVAILABLE, AND PREFER TO COMPLETE UNFINISHED WORK WITH US!!!!

Does not mean they will end up here, but wages etc not an issue.

Well they - the Board - need to get it done

The players and us fans need and deserve it.

Been there and done it, and will help with in game management.

No brainer

Guys, I’m sorry to break it to you but we aren’t signing Bale and Modric. I wish I could be more upbeat on a truely disappointing day but it will be more of the same. There’s zero evidence that our modus operandi will change in terms of transfers.

It will be young up and comers or panic buys.

I’d love to be proved wrong, but I won’t be. We’ve seen it too many times for it to be any different.

We are lucky the window shuts before the season starts this year though. That must benefit us.

Modric and Bale....definite yes. Both winners. Age doesnt matter. Exactly what we missed today. Game changers and been there and done it.

If we want to act like a big club, this is an absolute MUST. World class players with winning mentalities and experience available and want us, we need to make this happen at all costs.

I’d happily take Modric. Less fussed about Bale. Need someone we can rely on and his injury record takes him out of that bracket.

Get Super Scott a pair of boots and we’re partying like it’s 2010

I’ve been saying that for the last 3 summer’s but we don’t seem to go for that type of player.
Buy young player, young player, young player .. i am fed up of this .. whats the point at the end? When these young players mature, we will sell them .. rinse and repeat

Modric next to Dier/Wanyama in CM would be a massive improvement in games like the one we just played, as would pacey FBs like we had last year. Im not going to bother with the Bale suggestion as i cant see it happening in a million years.

THIS IS MY WISH! NO HINTS!!!
We need established Shaw-like LB, as Davies is a good back up, but not effective enough for games like today. Our game was based on quick wing backs, until this season.

We need the experience of Modric & Bale. If it costs 90m for the pair, it is worth it what they will bring to our club. Seems I selfishly hoping FFC don’t get autos, and fail in play-of, sowe can nab Sess, though I have given my observations.

Toby goes we bring in kid from Ajax.

WHAT WE KNOW
Toby likely to go=40m
Dembele to China?=20m
Llorente =5m
VJ= likely loan with option
CCV=5m

I am fairly confident we will bring in at the very minimum 70m plus on player sales.

Along with CL monies (which is to cover wages etc) I believe 200m spend is notcatvzll a pipe dream!

WHAT I KNOW
We always planned to spend 2018/19 season, as we move into the stadium. I personally believe we should go ALL OUT for especially Bale, if not Modric. And we ALL know we are his preferred.

POCH
He will have to make the right choices with the list of players we can get.

NOTE
Those who concern themselves with Bales fitness etc, he is approaching 29. Look how he carries Wales. Sanchez is 29, and look at him today.

*No optimistic ratings please, as from what I believe I know, we have over 100m set aside, with player sales funds to be added to it. The CL monies will cover wages etc*
Agree 100% with either bale or modric!

Accounts are historic statements

The cash is rolling in NOW - the 80k at Wembley last Saturday paid for their tickets now not in the period to June 17.

We can’t compete with City as they are state funded but we can with Liverpool and Arsenal. Walker is not worth £150k in any universe and neither is Ozil for that matter.
The gate money isn't where the major difference is though. It's corporate and commercial revenue, where this season we're still miles behind. And the other thing to bear in mind is that the historical accounts do matter - the other teams being richer means they were able to buy better players in previous windows who are still in their squads now, so there's a delay effect. If we start making the same amount of money as them from next season, we'll be in a roughly similar positions in about four years, so somewhere around 2022 or 2023.

I didn’t say they will happen, but they are available, regardless of what anyone says.
So why wouldn't it happen exactly? You've said wages and fee wouldn't be an issue so I'm wondering what the potential hurdles are. I don't doubt that they exist just curious.

Need to get someone in with a winning mentality, a leader.

If that means they’re in their 30s and a little past their prime, so be it.

I agree with you on Modric and Bale - we need these players for positivity and getting us over the line (in big games).

I've been banging this drum for a long time. I can't believe anyone wouldn't want Bale. Any player could get injured at anytime. He's is a match winner, gambles must he taken. Us fans gamble every time we fork out top dollar for a ticket, time for the club to do the same
