Schneiderlin dropped for Euro squad. He is also playing bad for United. Does he now think he made a mistake moving to United ?

I wouldn't mind us putting a decent bid for him. He could suit well into the team - could back up & compete against both Dier & Dembele

They are stacked in attack, it's amazing.

This will make him angry though and I think he'll definitely leave now.
If he can't get in squad playing every week for Lyon, he's unlikely to get in playing second fiddle to Kane. People need to get real. We aren't going to be spending 30 mill on anyone. Berahino will be the one that comes In. That's a certainty

This is a good observation. Would be ideal for us. 15-20 mill bid. He would fit in perfectly.

Berahino was on the radar when he was playing well and regularly and we were looking at Europa League. He's had a poor season and we're in the Champions League. We'll be aiming higher. Levy won't bother trying to deal with Peace now.

Aaaaaah, it's a certainty. I really didn't realise. That's settles it, no more discussion needed.

He's on £120k a week though. Unless he's willing to take a big pay drop or we're willing to make him our top earner by a fair distance its a no goer. Shame as he'd be a perfect fit for what we need.

Morgan (can't spell his surname) would be a great shout actually. Poch knows him inside out, he played his best football under Poch, makes sense. Wages the issue though.

You presenting your opinion as fact is annoying. That's a certainty.

What we really need is a player who can do what Dier does (i.e. midfield destroyer who can drop between the CBs when we are in possession). Wanyama was the defensive one at Southampton with Schneiderlin more creative. I don't think we'd be interested given his fee, wages, length of contract and what he'd offer us in comparison to somebody like Dendoncker.

We've yet to be seriously linked with Dendocker though - either through the media or credible ITK. If Schneiderlin was available you know Poch would be interested. Much depends on the managerial situation at United. If Jose gets his feet under the table, I can see Schneiderlin becoming a key player there.

Just the comment about "We'll see what the future brings"

just sounds as though he is evaluating his playing time in relation to losing his place in the national team

I took that as a comment on his standby position for the NT. But you may be right, and it would only be natural for him to be evaluating his options with his limited time on the pitch this season.

Would take Lacazette in a heartbeat! One season with us and Real Madrid would be hovering around him like fly's on shite.

If he comes to England, it'll be to Liverpool. Klopp is a father figure to him, and they pay more wages.
If Gotze goes to Liverpool, I wonder if they would make Lallana available to spurs.
Poch's captain at Southampton, he would fit well with Spurs squad English core. An upgrade/potential replacement for Chadli.

I'd like to think Spurs have moved on from gaining the rejects from other clubs who invest heavier, into a club who can afford to go out and get top quality personal.
