A Striker is a no brainier, but a young one for the future might also be a good idea. We have 1 some teams have 4 or 5. Not sure if 2 is enough for CL and PL footy, then there are the cups.

We have 3 CBs and I really think we need 4 for UCL and PL footy, its ok to bring the young ones into the squad like CCV but maybe the cups is the way to do it rather than PL or UCL footy.

I think we also need back up for Dier as Bentelab is a different type of player and not as solid in the air as Dier.

I guess it depends on how big our shopping list is.

Doubt we will get an out and out striker. We went for werner, martial and berahino all of whom can play on the wing as well.

I don't know enough about world football to know who's available that can do that role so will leave it to poch and mitchell to decide. If we do get one then we will have to sell one. Njie might be the one or possibly chadli/pritchard.

Really difficult as i like the squad. But we might have to shuffle carroll or mason to bring in an upgrade.

Fazio and yedlin gone.

One more striker in
Sell Bentaleb and buy a more Dier-like midfielder
Upgrade on one of our LBs.
And a rightsided centreback.

With Fazio surely leaving on a permanent in the summer I can't identify anyone in the squad I'd definitely want to sell.

A few months ago it looked like Carroll was surplus to requirements. Now he is a regular starter. I see no reaosn why Bentaleb cannot find a place back in the first team squad.

I'm one of the fans who has liked Chadli from the beginning. He has a bit of quality and a good eye for goal. I think we could look into replacing him with Arnautovic if the opportunity arises.

Dier has done well in midfield but I think his future is in centre back.

If a quality midfielder becomes available I'd look to this option.

As for strikers Ighalo from Watford looks the best Prem option to me.

I would keep all the players and watch them grow further for another season except, Fazio (to be sold as i do not think he fits the current Spurs First team) and Yedlin (to be loan out for another season - too early to give up on him).

Keepers - Keep Status Quo
Defenders - Dier to back up Alderweireld but still first choice CDM. CCV and Ball cover. Sell Fazio. Loan Yedlin out.
CDM - Ball to back up Dier (His stint at Rangers now in that position will be crucial for him to be given a chance)
AM - Bring Pritchard back and have a good look at Ward (Maybe a loan to a Premier League Club for the season?)
ST - I have a feeling MD2 is in the bag and will be coming in the summer (Spurs was smart to have him come in for Medical - Im sure the conversation would include plans for the summer as well). Berahino to come in too. If CL is successful (Third place and above in BPL), to bring in one of Batshuayi or Embolo.

* Winks and Onomah to be given more playing time. Maybe Harrison can be given some minutes here and there too.

Back up striker is a given. Defensive midfielder is the next priority. We have players who can play there but I'm not really convinced by any of them. Dembele is closest IMO but someone like Kramer would tick all the boxes.

The art is not to upset the balance of a harmonious squad with great spirit.

Hugo vertonghen poch new deals would be a great start.

I think we will only look to buy young and fiercely hungry players another striker is going to be paramount at the start of nxt season as Kane will be fried after the euros and will need a few weeks off imo
Quite like the look of that Embolo kiddie but I will just trust poch to get who he thinks fits the bill.

No superstars at spurs at the moment and I can't remember a time I have been more excited about our squad/team.
We are making our own and it feels good :D

Midfield : kramer but then again we have to sell bentaleb or mason for that as i think caroll is going to stay ultimately and poch will always prefer dier ahead of any other midfielder. And i am not sure whether someone like kramer would like to come in our team to sit on the bench.

Striker: quick, fast , dribbler and can go behind the line ... I am not sure who is that but someone in the mould of lacazette or martial would be my preference. Poch or mitchell needs to find out that player for us. My personal favorite would be aubamyeng but this is close to impossible. Lacazette might be possible if we get CL but honestly i dont think he is as good as martial and this season he becomes quite stagnated. I dont like the idea of signing 3rd striker on top of that.

Established sought after players like lacazette* are never going to agree to sign for a club were there is a very good chance they will not be first choice imo sadly we have to get a up and coming or somebody from a much crappier leauge.

That's the saddest part . That's why i think we need versatile players who can play as a number 9 or as a winger or number 10.

To add to my previous post, getting in a defensive midfielder to cover Dier would also give us some cover at CB with Dier able to fill in. Would be like 2 signings in 1.

We should just spend big on a couple of quality players, if we can improve the squad in areas then it should be done not worrying about who goes out. Aslong as we progress. The premier league will be a different beast next year...

Sell Fazio and Yedlin. Loan out Winks and Onomah to a promoted team if possible where they could get game time and experience of the Premier League.

Pritchard is a funny one, if he can get back to full fitness and have a few good games for West Brom this season then I would keep him in the squad next season, if he can't though, maybe send him out for a full season loan to a Premier League team.

Bring in a ST (Doesn't need to be a £20m+ st, if we can find a target that can make a difference from the bench/be happy to rotate then thats fine) and CB/CDM (I'd go for another young CB or CDM, Vertonghen and Alderweireld are experienced and we have Wimmer and potentially Dier to fill in but another CB or CDM option would be good to have unless we promote from the youth team).

Then if anything else presents itself and we have the money maybe get another quality player in but I'd be happy with just a couple signings in the summer and I think thats exactly what Poch will be thinking, regardless of whether we are in CL or EL. Minimum disruption to the squad.

Lloris, Vorm, McGee, Walker, Trippier, Alderweireld, Wimmer, Vertonghen, Rose, Davies, Dier, Bentaleb, Mason, Dembele, Eriksen, Son, Lamela, Carroll, Alli, Prithcard, Chadli, Njie, Kane + 2 more

Sell Fazio and Yedlin.

I'd forgotten we had Yedlin. Don't really see that he has much of a future with us with Trippier and Walker being there at the moment. Sounds unfair to write him off after 1(?) appearance for us. He doesn't seem to be doing much at Sunderland.

I must admit that I find this quite tricky. I love our current squad. I love the camaraderie between them and feel that it's crucially important for us to continue to fast track our young players over future seasons.

I have massively high hopes for Winks, Onomah and Walker-Peters.

With that said it's certainly important to try and add elite players here and there, especially if we have qualified for the CL.

Our obvious needs are up front where I would like to see us sign a high level player that is still young, for example:

Lacazette; Batshuayi; Embolo or Berahino. Any of those 4 would be a good addition to play either instead of or alongside Kane.

Additionally, a younger project striker would be a nice addition to who can come on for the last 10-15 mins in some games and develop, obvious choice being Moussa Dembele from Fulham.

Next up for me is CDM. Dier has been superb this season and I see his future in that role, however, we don't really have adequate cover for him imo. At least not in the sense of a true holding midfielder. I'd like us to take a look at someone like:

Kante; Wanyama; Kramer or another. As much as I like Carroll I feel that he will be surplus to requirements when Mason is back fit and Bentaleb is back to his best. Dembele and Alli can rotate between the deeper and attacking roles when needed.

In terms of CB it all depends on Carter-Vickers. The suggestion is that he has all the ability to be a top player. If so then I see no need to add here as Dier can also drop back if required.

Finally and maybe controversially, I'm still not 100% sold on Lamela. I like the kid a lot and I'm rooting for him but I still feel like whilst he would be an elite player in Serie A, Ligue 1 and La Liga, in the Prem I question whether he can ever be that top level talent that he has potential to be. Stylistically I'm not sure if he matches up quite right.

With that in mind I would like to see us add another playmaker type in the mould of a Dimitri Payet or Yunus Malli. Keeping Chadli, Son, Eriksen, Alli is crucial. Promoting through N'Jie, Pritchard, Onomah and Grant Ward (who clearly has a future with us now that he's signed a new deal) is hugely important but I would consider selling Lamela as I'm concerned about his consistency and decision making. I feel that we lack a true playmaker who has that eye for a brilliant defense splitting pass.

In summary though, I'm so excited about our future and really the only glaring need right now, as we all know, is a striker. We can get that sorted in the summer and be ready to roll even if we buy nobody else.

1 FB to walk straight into the starting line up.
1 CM as above, w/ CL experience.
1 CB for the future, but who can step in already next season.
1 striker for the future, but who can step in already next season.

I'd be surprised if we do that much business

We have 4 first team full backs already in the squad as well as Walker-Peters coming up. Unless we sell first I can't see more coming in

CB - I suppose we've sold Chiriches and will be selling Fazio so space could open. But we have a very settled CB partnership with Wimmer and Dier both able to cover and the likes of CCV in the ranks (and Ball at Rangers is it?) I do think we could see a youngster brought in though as you say, what with Milos being sold

We seem so stacked in CM it's difficult to get our current crop enough game time, again unless we sell first I doubt we'd do much here

Striker we obviously need but I really thought we'd have arranged everything in this department prior to the last window open but still it slammed shut without activity. If Fulham's Dembele is on the cards for the summer he will probably be the only striker we bring in
