To be honest, is there really any point in this article? That's not a dig at you mate, but a pop at the waste of effort by the article writer.

As if Poch would've just signed a new contract if he hadn't been assured of everything within the article?

Hopefully this is a thinly veiled message to the supporters, letting us know improvements are afoot.
Yes, there is a point to the article- as it is one of the first times Pochettino has talked about the transfer window and it shows he also recognises the need for stronger squad depth with CL football next season.

Do you not see it as him just stating the obvious, though?

I'd say his interview a couple of weeks ago when he actually named Batshuayi (and Umtiti) was telling us more than the article we're speaking about?

Anyway, my point remains. He's hardly likely to have signed a new contract if he hadn't been given assurances over the very thing in the article, is he?

As a footballer and a potential option for midfield, I like him about as much as I liked Stephen Clemence. (y) :D
There was stat that Everton's PPG dropped staggeringly she he was injured this season, similar to how ours did when Mousa was out. He's a good player, but as I say we need to bring in better quality now.

Not gonna argue the stat, but we'll have to agree to disagree about the bolded part.

I think you'll find Roberto Martinez was a far bigger influence on Everton's PPG than any player.

Sturridge..if Poch thought he could get him to buy into our style and he hasn't a long term injury problem i would buy him, he is a amazing ...if not , i wouldn't touch him ofc.

Kirchhoff ....great cover for Dier .

Leko from WBA..he will be a massive talent for the future.

A better no 2 keeper
