At the beginning of the season I thought Moyes was a sensible decision.

Home defeats to Palace, Everton and Boro and a home draw to West Brom does not bode well.

Are Sunderland done? Defoe aside there's no quality there.

They played OK against us and were well organised but essentially didn't have the quality to do the job.

Can't stand Davey Moyse or going up to the stadium of shite so I sincerely hope so.

They've had four great escapes in a row, but I just cannot see how they're going to manage a fifth. No quality in the side in general and Defoe's starting to show his age IMO.

For me Moyes is in the same position as Remi Garde at Villa last season. There's little or nothing he can do to turn the mentality in that squad around.

Judging by their performance against us Moyes can do what he did at Everton by organising a back four then getting the midfielders to do little more than protect in front of them.

With players like van Aarnholt (spelling?) they are not disciplined to pull this off,

Thought they were a banker to go down before the season started and haven't changed my mind.

Frankly I'm surprised they achieved 2points.

West Ham must be wringing their hands at the thought of playing them at the Trampoline Arena

They aren't doing any better in the Championship. They've got nine points from fourteen games and are 23rd in the table. There's a long way to go, but it's not looking good for them at the moment.

Feel bad for their fans. They've been so badly mismanaged for years. Them getting relegated last season has been a long time coming and now it looks like they might go down two years in a row.

Their club has been in a dire state for a few years now. Must be awful for their fans.
