So you think it’s fair he says all the decisions went Spurs way without mentioning Llorente one on one flagged offside. Push on Dele for pen and red card and Son’s decent but arguable shout for a penalty?
Don’t think he was “fair” in any sense of the term. Agree to disagree like you say
Just got home from the game, the conditions were shocking to say the least. Hard fought 3 pts. Take that to be fair great when the 2nd went in. Few of the players had an off day but taking everything into account good team effort especially as Kane was on the bench. Dele worked really hard tonight and great managing by Poch to take Sanchez off, think he would of maybe should of a red. So all in all conditions shocking couple of good performances (Wanyama) class and Deli, Llorente first goal, and clean sheet happy days well done lads let’s have the same again against West Ham. Big mention to the travelling fans awesome atmosphere class by the Spurs boys and girls. COYS
Bobby Madley was a joke. Yeah, ok, the goal was off. Bad decision against Swansea. I honesty don’t think the Sanchez foul was a second yellow. He had his back turned to the player,he swings to clear it and the attacker pokes it and takes the kick. For me, a free kick, yes. Second yellow? No way.
Then there is the quite clear push on Alli. That’s a clear penalty and red. We admitted it when Walker did it a City. It was clear. Pen and red. The Son penalty was even more clear as day, but admittedly wasn’t a red. You could also argue the Llorente offside call was in fact on when Lamela played him through.
I was fuming with the red during the game - I thought he was giving them pretty much everything he could. He was weak and if any team should have felt hard-done by it should have been us.
Then we get into the studio and they’re literally gutted. Dickhead new Swansea manager comes on rambling for ages and started his interview on about Sanchez and how Poch was being clever. No. He was on a yellow, commited another foul that left him on his final warning. He got subbed off in case he got sent off, not because he should have already you fat headed prick.
Then we have to suffer the angriest person in the world - Graeme Souness. They go over the Llorente offside goal and the Sanchez incident. Not one mention of either stone wall penalty we should have had. No mention of the red Swansea player should get for the push fr the first penalty. None whatsoever. It’s all poor little Swansea.
I then read the write up on bbc sport from a Daffyyd Pritchard. Wonder where this gobshite is from? Again, Spurs lucky with the ref bla bla bla, no mention of the incidents that clearly went against us.
I’m still livid. I’m sick of this shit with Spurs and the media. If we had a legit pundit in there for the Spurs game, like Jenas, Hoddle, even Neville - I’m sure it would have been different. In fact, why do we always get stuck with Graeme ‘I hate the whole world’ Souness? Because he got released by Tottenham as a kid? He clearly doesn’t like us and he’s not the only one. I’m sick and tired of this media bias against us.
Please, collectively, just fuck off.
And relax. We won.
Wouldn’t give a monkeys if they go down btw, Swansea. They can piss off now for all I care.
How could they not even mention Son getting a clear kick in the box though? It’s so clear as day that for me, there’s clearly an agenda behind it. It irritates me, maybe I’m just not as perfect as some people.
One time I had a PM about all this from a member who's a psy....phys.....head doctor. After muddling through a lot of words I didn't understand and asking for it in laymans terms it basically boiled down to aggressive masturbation and losing at conkers whilst at school.
His suggested answer was to spend less time tugging on the old chap and at least a half hour a day stroking a cat/dog. There was nothing he could do about the conkers, so he lost a lot of credibility with me.
And he never mentioned Son getting kicked. The ****.
