Ben Davis tackle on bony was the best tackle I think of the season by a mile.He was at fault for there goal but this guy is going too hopefully become one of are star players in the future. Davis, nabil, Kane and mason will start being the core of this team. I just hope levy and co start too get rid of deadwood.

Why do these boring WUMs bother? Don't you have anything better to do than pretend to be fans of a rival club? You're basically wasting your lives. (y):playful:

I still don't fully understand the hard on some get for Bony (no pun intended).

He had 4 gilt edge chances last night and with a lot of luck managed to score 1 goal. That was only because a shot that was going wide cannoned back of Verts and gave him a tap-in.
If Soldado had those same chances would he have done worse?
Probably. Because his luck is out along with his confidence,

Bony would not have scored for us last night because we don't have anybody that can/will supply crosses like Routledge does.

Yes Bony is a good player but so are a lot of others all of whom need a bit of luck at times.

SC Staff announcement:

The game is about to kick off. Would all staff please now put on their tin helmets, flak jackets and riot gear. Nicdic, please report to the SC Chapel ready to receive casualties for counselling. You can expect frustration, vitriol and hate to begin from 4.03PM onwards. Kneejerking bullshit will follow shortly after that, please have your wetwipes to hand at all times.

Thank you

If you really want to do something about it, you could make a start by banning obvious wums like this guy who bring absolutely nothing to the forum at all.

A classic illustration of you don't play football on paper or a computer

Football is not chess and often disappoints the purists

Spurs did to Swansea what a number of clubs have done to us in the past. The reason why we never finished 1st of 2nd. Looked good but could not kill off the game. Flattered to deceive. All about goals

Thought it was a decent away performance a lot of hard work even from those who were not supposed to be workers

I ll take winning over anything at this stage

Thought the changes had a big influence of the latter stages of the game

Agree generally, but the better player can often lose the chess match as well if they aren't careful. Personally I think the analogy is a good, if not perfect, one.

He had one bad game in which he still managed to score. Hardly a rousing argument as to why he wouldn't be an improvement for us.

I'm not saying he wouldn't be an improvement for us. Just that he gets all the plaudits as if he's infallible whereas that game suggests otherwise.
I still don't think he would have scored for us in that game because of the service that we supply (don't) to our strikers
Any striker would have to get a goal from every opportunity to be any good for us atm. Those (chances) are few and far between.
