So if we're losing 1-0 can I post that Pochettino is a fourflushing motherfucking sonofabeech who should be shot outside the ground and the video of his summary execution posted on Youtube, Kane is a mumbling buffoon who has massive shit stains in his panties and interferes with unicorns and Toby has a face like a Buffalo's vagina who constantly says 'oh my god' exactly like Janice from Friends and be protected under the 'passion' policy? And better yet be considered a 'proper' fan?

Sweet :D
Is that a rhetorical question?

I don't get the issue here. The team did not look like winning and were frustrating as hell untill right at the end. Did anyone at 80 minutes think "chill, we got this"?

I only caught the back end of it so apologies if I got it wrong but I thought I saw a stat on SSN earlier saying no team had ever won the title from 7 points behind with however many games it is we have left to play, which only illustrates how much of a tall order it is. Bottle/Spursy simply doesn't come into it.

Not like you?

Yeah... I thought we would certainly still grab a draw, it's what we do.
I was losing the belief in still getting a win mind you.

I did but then I'm perfect.
I still don't see why people want to stop people expressing their frustration, let them do it and laugh at them if you want but don't try to shut them down.

I'm not sure but is it an age thing, apart from some, there doesn't seem to be respect to players and manager that there used to be. Yes we'd shout out at matches calling players names and jeering or slow handclapping but there wasn't the WWW back then and so no social media.
OR Maybe that's the thing? We're reasonably anonymous on here so don't worry about any come back.
I don't like some of the postings during a match game so steer clear, can't get wound up then.(y)
Maybe others who feel similar should do the same:love:

I agree which is why their posts get bumped and it's always worth a laugh...freedom of speech and all that :D

lol Glad the irony isn't lost on you...:ROFLMAO:

Look we had the same arguments before, don't make irrational comments which totally lack any perspective then you won't get called out it's that simple. It's funny how it's the same people who were doing this last time are the same people who are moaning this time.

To be fair, I was only criticising the game last night and not us overall, even if we lost last night I would have been gutted but I am sensible enough to understand that we are well above where we technically should be.

My only real criticism was us reverting to 4231, I just don't understand why we do it when it always produces the same outcome now, it shouldn't be used again, too easy to play against us when we use it and it stops Eriksen from having the influence he can have on games.

I would have bitten your hand off for 4th this year considering how others have strengthened and we were never in the title race so the fact we have managed to get ourselves within reaching distance is remarkable really.

I do question why people feel the need to go back through the thread and point these things out though the day after the game, it just seems a little petty, I just don't see why it's important to do so or what it adds to the discussion about the match?

It's pretty obvious that during a match people are going to be reacting in an emotional way, even if what they say is wrong or irrational, it happens and it's going to happen irrespective of what people say, it happens at games, it happens on forums.

I draw the line at directly insulting players and the manager and saying disrespectful things but saying something like "We are playing shit" or "I knew this would happen, it's going to be one of those days" I don't see anything wrong with that in the heat of the moment, none of us knew we would win the game, I had belief deep we could and we were capable, hence why even after I said I would stop watching I stuck it out until the end, like I always do, but that doesn't mean I wasn't frustrated throughout the game.

I just don't think it's right that people get shamed for reacting emotionally and looked down upon the day after for their opinions during a game, I prefer optimism like anyone but it's quite easy to just ignore the over emotional responses or just not come into match threads if it bothers people so much.

Feels like sometimes people just like saying I told you so, after the fact.

I don't think anyone can accuse spurs of lacking bottle now though, we have bottle, there is no doubt about that.

Do yiu think the people who are posting bilge are the only ones who have emotion or passion?

By the way I don't know why you're taking it personal...none of its directed at you.

One thing i do/did like about last night, was Toby's reaction when we conceded - he clearly hates giving any type of goal away and show it, unlike some (Davies who simply stand there looking gormless)

Also must apologise to anyone who took offence to my comment about punching my wife when we were 1-0 down, it was just a joke and obviously isn't really something to laugh about. I simply don't condone violence towards women and certainly not just because we had gone a goal down to Swansea.......... Now had we gone two down then fair enough ;)

Does a cock slap to the face count as violent conduct?

How many times has Dele in particular scored in the 88th minute? I feel as though this is happening regularly but I can't be arsed researching it.

No I don't think that, I made a point of saying otherwise in my first post, I think people react in different ways, either way is fine and it doesn't show how much they care either way.

Essentially people react in different ways and no way is right or wrong, that's my point, if people don't react emotionally fine, if they do, fine.

I don't mean to sound like I am taking it personally, I am not honestly, I even went back and edited my kneejerk emotional response to the match last night by calling myself a twat lol, it's easy in hindsight to see it but at the time during the heat of a match it's impossible, I was just making observations about the thread.

I know it isn't about me or directed at me, hard to show that I am not taking it personally when it's words typed on a message board though as we can't see each other reactions.

Like right now I could be rubbing my nipples and eating a banana for all you know...LOL.

Alli is going to be an exceptional player. Look at his runs last night. Even for the goal, he's moving before Eriksen even shoots.
I only caught the back end of it so apologies if I got it wrong but I thought I saw a stat on SSN earlier saying no team had ever won the title from 7 points behind with however many games it is we have left to play, which only illustrates how much of a tall order it is. You can guarantee if we don't win every single game between now and then of the season, pundits and rival fans will be saying we bottled it *again*.

Spurs and Chelsea are the best coached sides in the PL IMO. What makes Poch's achievement even better is that he's done it on half the transfer and wage spend than Conte. He's also had midweek games to work around. He's also shown great tactical flexibility.

Even at 1-0, I was still very confident and happy. 1) because no matter what the result last night, this team has made me proud and 2) I knew we'd battle to the end, because that's what we do nowadays.

You all need to get a grip. People were watching the match and reacting to how the felt in real time, that is what the frustration and ecstasy of supporting Spurs does to you, it happens. I suppose you all watched the match sitting all quaint and non pulsed, Most wouldn't want to meet the likes of you in real life either

No worries, you are normal

Errr no. Watched the game cheering the team on. Not writing what a bunch of bottle jobs they are.

Luckily our as always fantastic away support is what the players hear and that's why they went over to celebrate with them in the way they did.

Backed the team not flaked at the first sign of adversity

Either way glad we agree we would never like to cross each other's paths!

What gives you the right to question how he questions the comments of people? What gives me the right to question your questions on the questions of the comments? What gives me the right to question myself?

This is getting confusing. It'd be a lot easier if you'd just admit you threw you're toys out of the pram and now look a little silly :D

For any poster to suggest that "we were very poor" for eighty eight minutes, could not possibly have been watching this game. I think this was one of the best games we have played away from home all season. The fact that i had forgot that Vorm was in goal until it showed him walking off at halftime suggests that we were dominant.

A couple of stats that flashed up on NBCSN during the game:

33min: Passing accuracy
Swansea 69%
Spurs 91%

44mins: Passes
Swansea 62
Spurs: 240

Please don't anyone try to convince me that "we were very poor for eighty eight minutes" because whoever thinks that simply knows nothing about the game of football.

For me it's only a bit of fun really...maybe petty in some people's eyes but I really don't see a difference in bringing up a quote you find funny and laughing at it to say replying to that quote separately...At the end of the day that person has still typed it so I don't see the need to for people to throw their toys out the pram, the difference is I guess is people don't like being exposed as knee jerking snowflakes but there's one way to stop that...;)

He never said we we have no bottle

However we have earnt the title as legends due to past performances under Redknapp and AVB as well as last season poor quarter

We have improved a huge amount over the last 5 years but that label of spursy and legends wont go until we win something!

Well he could have just said that on this happy occasion instead of being narky about it. Trying to ruin or buzz man o_O
