I have to say with Levy being Jewish and our connection as a club. I’d find it very surprising if we sold out to any Arab based company. I think Americans are much more likely.

Well in that case you can knock the Disney idea on the head, seeing as Walt Disney was a raving anti-Semite, fascist and Nazi sympathiser.

He's also been dead for 60 years.

Agree, but I was just making the point that if you look hard enough you can find plenty of dubious morals associated with big companies and organisations.

Although I think American investment is likely that’s more to do with the NFL tie up than anything else.

If the deal was right I think Levy/Lewis would sell to Arabs regardless. After all, Arsenal had no qualms about Emirates despite their board having plenty of large Jewish shareholders at the time.

I doubt arabs would buy a club with perceived jewish connections.

I think anyone's moral compass could be altered if offered the right money. A big enough profit would be enough for levy to turn a blind eye about historical misdoings I'm sure.

Levy wouldn't be petty enough to let religion interfere in matters of business

It's not about who levy would sell to but who would want to buy us.
We would cost over £1bn to buy so it would either be a consortium or a state buying us. I can't see an arab state buying a club with perceived jewish connections. The middle east is volatile at the best of times they would not want to provoke certain sections of their populace when there are other cheaper clubs they could buy.

All a bit moot anyway.

I know what you're saying but saying that arabs and chinese are racist is in itself a racist statement. Lol.

I meant they are the most racist people you’ll meet. It’s absolutely acceptable in their culture, they make no bones about it all.

I think this is Stevenurse admitting that he once agreed to give a carpark handjob to Piers Morgan for 20 quid.

As i said i know what you are saying but you are making a generalisation of a race of people which in itself can be considered racist. Unless you have met and found out the views of every single chinese person.

Did you think it'll be this year ? Dipped in to the American market , NFL etc . Didn't spend money and no stadium sponsor kinda primed for someone to come in .blank canvas if you will.

No.

Anything's possible, always, but I'm more than ever convinced that they're in it for the long haul.

Did some one suggest we wouldn't sell to Disney because he was a Nazi sympathizer?

Does that rule us out from having anything to do with anything German?
Must have missed that memo when Addidas made our kits.

As stated, he's been dead 60 years and the world has changed. If some one supported something 70 years ago, they'll all be dead by now and changed direction.

It was mentioned a few posts ago (albeit that was January)
I just didn't like the dismissal of it based on the link to the Nazi party.
You can't hold that kind of silly grudge, times have moved on.

Ps, Disney spend more on Adverts for Avengers films than ENIC spend on players for THFC.

I agree they wouldn't be rebuffed because the former chair who died over half a century ago may have been a racist. AndI have no doubts they have the financial muscle to run a club but it's just not their business to get involved in football is all, So its just a very odd random and strange link
