CalcioMercato claim Tanguy Ndombele has rejected a loan move to join Maurizio Sarri’s Napoli this month. But the interest to take the Tottenham star on loan is hotting up, with PSG and Atletico Madrid both interested.

Poch can solve the problem he created for us by taking him to PSG.

Ndombele should excel with two from Gueye, Veratti, Wijnaldum and Herrera either side in midfield doing the hard yards in the less intense Ligue 1.

Do they really need him though? I call Bullshit.

We are talking about a team who's main problem in Poch's eyes already has to carry too many flair players.

Maybe but Poch obviously rates him. I mean he waited a year to get him and refused any alternatives in the mean time. Don't know if there is serious interest or not, but I could see them taking him on loan if Poch wanted him, and of course his being French is also a bonus for them with very little in the way of draw backs if it doesn't work out.

I guess the question is if Poch still wants him after having a proper look at him. He did play him a fair bit despite him clearly lacking fitness. Then if Poch does like him it then becomes a question of how much sway he has on transfers there.

I'd even take a loan swap for someone like Wijnaldum at this point. Wijnaldum is being linked with moves away.

I think it's vital for us to get Tanguy out playing somewhere to hopefully get some suitors for the summer.

I couldn't care less if we get someone in return or not to be honest, I just want him out and playing somewhere else however that comes about.

I know I'm not him- but in a World Cup year I'd want to be playing and any minutes is better than what he will get with us.
We know he's a lazy so n so who believes his sh1t doesn't stink but at the end of the day it's his choice or he'll be wasting away on his own.

No doubt, it really has gotten to the point where he just has to go this window regardless of what we get for him, even if it was a loan with us covering most of his wages. Better than us paying him £200k to train with the kids.

And if he's playing regularly somewhere else it's more likely he'll get a permanent move to somewhere.

It's very frustrating from my POV - I want to work but covid is stopping me from doing what I love (meaning I can't get anything)- while some players seem to just be happy to count the money in their bank accounts for doing nothing positive. EERRRRGGGGHH

Yep, shop window. I guess the decision before was whether he could still contribute to the squad but it seems Morecambe put an end to that. I'll be shocked if he's not gone this window, probably on loan.

You seriously think he gives a shit about the national team? ?

The PSG problem is more around the gelling of the most expensive front 3 in world football. As the article says, there is also the challenge of the link between midfield and attack and that's where TN with his eye for a super precise slide rule pass can slot in and add value.

Some bugger just has to win the ball first and then make sure the midfield is secure in case Tanguy loses it!
