Some of our fans are demanding 30 mill for Dembele, who is very susceptible to injuries and is what, 33 years old? Given that N'Dom has only had one decent season, part of the French youth setup and a lot younger, it's no surprise they value him so highly. Every club is entitled to value their own player at a certain value.

However, I have to admit I've never watched this guy in a live game so whether he is worth spending that money is a different question.

Unfortunately this bears all the hallmarks of a deal that is too complicated for us to get over the line. If it were City or the Chavs they'd just chuck more and more money at it but not us.

Better give PSG 50-55m for Rabiot, than 40m for a guy nobody even heard 1 month ago.
Was he a mute up until this month ;)

Never heard of him but Sounds like Levi's been watching a Jurassic park/world marathon and is trying to build a hybrid Dembele with a T-rex...

The old N'Dombolus rex?

But even if Lyon activate their clause to buy, surely he can refuse to join them, thus negating that transfer seeing as he’s only on loan.

Then we buy direct from Amien for say £20m.

Surely that would make sense and the player and Amien would both benefit from that?

I'd imagine that any contract between Amien and Lyon would include an agreement with the player. Not wishing to piss on anybody's chips but this looks like a nightmare deal to try to get done.

Someone posted earlier in this thread that the option supposedly already has a contract signed by him. Apparently that makes it air tight for them unlike what happened to Soton with Toby.

Another underwhelming signing, he is a bit slow and clumsy. Barrios looks like a Ferrari compared to this guys tank.
