Ndombele is one of the best forward-thinking passers in Europe (in fact statistically he was the best last year). He is the opposite of sterile possession. I can’t believe people wouldn’t be all over this.

Think most have hardly seen him play, and many just want a big name they'd be secure about. The fear that he's another N'koudou, Clinton is also there - after all what we need from our main midfield signing is better than Capoue, Sissoko, M'Vila etc.

Perhaps his info used to come from someone who worked at the club how now doesn't. I have no idea but he certainly doesn't post as much as he used to.

If I remember correctly and I may not his info used to come from the press side of things ?

But it's been a while since I had the temerity to post on coys and therefore become banned

thanks for the insights, mate. What's the sense over there- if Aulas gets his 60 mil for Fekir, he would likely become much more difficult to deal with for NDombele? Are there any connections between Sissoko and Lyon, boyhood fan, best mate plays there, coach signed him as a kid, anything? Sorry for the questions.

Why isn't he considered ITK anymore?

Pretty sure it was Dragon that drunkenly embarrassed/over extended himself at the team hotel on a European trip or an end of season trip away. That sounds like utterly ridiculous info, but there was def something along these lines

I can't see Lyon paying Sissoko a high enough wage to persuade him to join them.

It was posting the details of a conversation with avb on a preseason friendly I think. The details will be on Sc somewhere.

I think the reality is there are many talents out there we simply don't know about first hand.

I hadn't heard of him until the link. As fans we then see Youtube videos, read stats, read opinions from the player's fans and local media etc in an attempt to piece together what type of player he is.

Due to that can't really be massively in favour or against such a signing.

I think you’re right. I would just say that there is a massive range of players in ligue 1. There is not such a massive range when you compare players who have the highest number of accurate forward passes (>10m) in Europe.

He plays with the same verve that you see in Kanté. One of those players that seems to have testosterone corsing through him. No fear.

The other players were not like that. And Sissoko played for Newcastle for years so there was no excuse on that one !!

There aren’t any links that I know of between Sissoko and Lyon.

I wouldn’t second guess Aulas. He is a tough negotiator like levy but he’s french so he’ll surprise you.

He sold tolisso for €41.5m and I’d expect a similar amount for ndombele but who knows....

I think that’s right and a very fair comment.

Absolutely right - in practise of course we spout total nonsense and get arbitrarily attached to some signings and not others

I thought Dragon was a girl.

Perhaps I’m getting my non-SC ITKs confused. It’s highly possible.
