Ndombele would be a dream for sure. Has that power Poch loves but can play too. Seems likely that the price may have dropped a little from January where we were told it was too high.

We are more attractive than ever before and have the added bonus of offering an almost guaranteed starting slot in our midfield ahead of the 2020 Euros. Should get plenty of visibility playing in the PL and CL alongside the French captain.

Will be hard to compete with the likes of Juve but I could see us having a good go at convincing him.
Ndombele alongside Sissoko could be a mighty midfield combination, both for us and the French national side

can't underestimate the draw of lloris here if he's serious about moving for euro visibility. Would be a starter and very much in the public eye. Champs league footy and all of a sudden we're very attractive if we can put the financials together.

would be positively beastly and we'd get back the dembele/wanyama 'they shall not pass' axis we had previously.

He looks strong, tidy and athletic.

For those who have watched him beyond YouTube and the two appearances against Man City this season, how does he differ / what does he offer that's different to Sissoko?

Much like Sissoko he can drive forward, but when he gets in and around the final third, he has a calmness and is aware where his team mates are and often picks the right pass, and the standard of passing is high, with chances created by way of quick pinpoint passing.

By no means a playmaker, but he's able to play people in at times. Very versatile.

Pretty much all the above. Here’s a little collection from his last game. Seems to have a bit of everything plus constant awareness and vision to pick the right pass when needed.

Who would be the dm in that combo? My understanding is that Ndombele is more a box to box player

Wonder if this signing, which may have been a priority with Dembele’s injuries and Sissoko’s indifferent form last season is now somewhat more on the backburner with The New Mousa Sissoko?

Ideally if you play 2 from Winks, Sissoko and Ndombele we wouldn't need a specialist DM. All 3 can defend and attack so just need some in game management for it to work.

Thanks - nice passing range.

Yeah and personally I prefer the flexibility of having two hybrid kind of box to box midfielders in there rather than one being a designated holder and other more creative.

Makes it easier to rotate too as two from that three could slot in easily rather than at present being rotated for Dier who is pure defensive.

Talk in the "ITK discussion thread" that he's going elsewhere.

Herc...N’Dombele, we have a chance is all I can say.

Whatever the outcome, I'll be gutted if the "elsewhere" ends up being Liverpool. Feck dat.

If he does go elsewhere hopefully it happens early in the window and we can then move onto our next target.

Or Man City... the one position they look light on options is DM, if Fernandinho is out they need better back up. I would not be surprised if they are interested

City talk seems to be around Rodri and Bruno Fernandes for that role currently. Can't see Liverpool putting another £50m into CM with Ox back in the fold either. Juve seems to be the main competitor.

Hopefully with all the manger uncertainty at Juventus it may help us out

Maybe it depends on what happens on the 1st June!?
