We're talking about potentially one of the top midfielders in World Football, meaning his stock is likely to rise once Poch has worked his magic.

Paying circa £60M, in that scenario, isn't as far fetched as you might believe.

It's incredible to me that people ignore the consistent well connected spurs pundits saying there's money there for the right players and the evidence is in Sanchez, we banged 42 mill down out of nowhere. I'm adamant we will go at least 60-70 for the right player over the next 2 seasons, if there's an opportunity for NDombele I reckon we will go big.

From what I understand (i.e I'm guessing and probably wrong), ITKs tend to get there info a few days late and then the media tends to be 2/3 weeks behind them. JJ said about Rabiot that he's a good player but not for us, now based on how he worded it vs other players, my opinion is that we probably scouted Rabiot and made contact but it was too complicated contract wise and I reckon the press were fed similar information but drew it out more.
