There's been masses of complaints about the ratings people have been receiving, IMO those giving spam ratings out like jizz in a bukkake party should maybe lighten up a bit. I can understand it when someone goes totally off topic but for having a laugh? I've never ever EVER complained about people having a laugh, well, not that I can recall anyway.
Lighten up just a touch people, this place is for ITK and to have some fun while the ever lengthening wait for a signing goes on.

Ah, yes. This falls under the heading 'we can't keep everyone happy' I'm afraid.
People want the Daily ITK Thread to be spam free so they can stick to the ITK, so we give them that. But there's those who want it to be a free for all so we can't keep everyone happy.
With that in mind and to make up for it we make the player threads very lightly moderated and let people take the chat where they like, but there's people who want even those threads to be more heavily moderated. Again, we can't keep everyone happy.
Basically, whatever we do we can't keep everyone happy and we feel how we roll now is pretty much a fair compromise.
To those of you who say that it's annoying when you've seen a thread grow by several pages and then can't find any ITK all I can suggest is that you check the Read Only or the actual ITK Discussion Thread, that's where ITK will be posted as quickly as we can get it there. So you've been catered for in two places, that's enough surely?
In the past this place has wound me right up and now, what with some of the angry comments and liberal use of the spam button that we're seeing, I reckon there's one or two people who've let it get to them too.

I’m here for the feeling of superiority, the occasional bit of joviality and of course the cheese room.
But on a less ridiculous note, the itk thread and RO are more than adequate for quick access to latest updates, the player threads are always going to have tangential discussion and a bit of the old ‘Bayern in for’ humour because they're more of a reflection of the environment you get in season in spurs chat.

Im all for having a laugh but if player threads start to have 4-5 pages of shit jokes that lonely blokes at the pub would make then I think we need to reign it in a bit.
