Changed his profile picture to this, before it was him in a Lyon shirt.

Tottenham hope to complete £60m club-record signing of Tanguy Ndombele this week... with Eric Dier and Victor Wanyama at risk of being squeezed out by new recruit
  • Tottenham are in advanced talks with Lyon over transfer of Tanguy Ndombele
  • French midfielder, who will cost around £60million, is set to pen a five-year deal
  • The 22-year-old has been a long-term target for manager Mauricio Pochettino
  • His arrival could lead to Eric Dier and Victor Wanyama being marginalised
Tottenham are hoping to finalise their stunning club-record move for Tanguy Ndombele by the end of this week.

Spurs are in advanced negotiations with Lyon to sign the French midfielder in a deal worth around £60million, topping the £42m they splashed out for defender Davinson Sanchez in 2017.

The 22-year-old has been a long-term target for manager Mauricio Pochettino and having been keen to sign him in the previous two windows they are now on the verge of finally landing their man.

Capturing Ndombele would represent a significant statement of intent from the north Londoners and be part of an eye-catching return to the transfer market after two windows without spending.

Spurs made Ndombele a priority target this summer and emerged as the front-runners to sign him and his preferred destination amid interest from Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus.

Ndombele is understood to have already visited Spurs's impressive training ground and is expected to pen a five-year deal.

His arrival could lead to Eric Dier and Victor Wanyama being squeezed out. Spurs are believed to be open to offers for the pair.

Ndombele in, and Dier + Wanyama out without another DM in doesn't make any sense to me.

If it were up to me I'd keep Dier and add a DM. I think we'd be leaving ourselves a little short but maybe I just need to accept Sissoko & Winks will play DM.

Maybe this is the plan:

I don't know what the hell is going on with Rabiot and the relationship he has with his mother... but it definitely isn't healthy. Not sure what it has to do with this thread though... maybe guessing he wants to reconsider Spurs if NDombele joins us?

(I get this really weird creepy vibe when I think of his mom... like she still bathes him and sings him lullabies). :yuck::nailbiting::wtf:

I keep picturing Robin Arryn ???

I could get behind this one Windy posted on Twitter. 62K Spurs fans belting this at the new stadium... N17 would be an electric factory.

I cannot stress any further how fucking tiresome it is having to sift through shit song suggestions. I swear there’s a thread for it in Chat? If we don’t sign Ndombele, I hope each and every one of you who has made up a song gets banned tbh.

But we will sign Ndombele and then you'll be the only one who doesn't know his song.

I don’t believe we will sell dier. It doesn’t really make sense to. Hopefully next season he will be fully fit and raring to go. He’s being written off by too many.

Probably more likely a diamond with sissoko and NDombele either side and Eriksen/dele at the tip

I think Wanyama will end up staying - and you have Skipp who is a year older....
