Same team as last two league games, with Dier going to CB for Sanchez (who hasn't looked quite his best lately), and Wanyama taking Dier's place in MF.

Son coming off at 60' is a strong indicator he'll start on Saturday. Which means he probably won't against Juve. So against Juve, Lamela for Son (should be a good game for Lamela), and FB rotation as Poch likes (so Aurier and Rose for Juve). Likewise, Toby in for the Juve game.

Pretty certain, we wont start Toby. Insane to rush him coming from a muscle injury. IMO, He will play CL game on Tuesday & benched for NLD. We can always bring him on if things dont pan out well.

Most of the XI who were rested are certain to start for this one.

I am hoping to see Lucas gets his debut in NLD, atleast from the bench. With a suspect defense like Arsenal, he will get the space he needs to do the damage.

Bad feeling about this. Arsenal have genuine fire power now. In the time since our resurgence, its coincided with Wenger bringing in a ton of mentally weak players. Its premature for sure, but that front line of Arsenals could potentially be as good as any of the top teams, should they mesh well. Another absolute A performance is needed.

im almost inclined to suggest that the team, including the subs (!) picks itself at the moment (only exception being the CB partner for Jan)

Will be an interesting fight for the places on the bench with everyone available.

I guess it will be the same team that started against Liverpool but would prefer Toby and Vic to Dier and Sanchez.

Lloris - Trippier, Toby, Jan, Davies - Vic, Dembele - Dele, Eriksen, Son - Kane
Subs: Vorm, Dier, Sanchez, Rose, Winks, Moura, Lamela

Llorente, Aurier, Sissoko, Foyth, KWP scratched for me :cautious:

This is a difficult selection to make. I honestly don't think that Toby will start the game having just played his first since november last night

4-2-3-1

Lloris

Aurier Sanchez Jan Davies

Dembele Dier

Eriksen Alli Son

Kane

The team pretty much picks itself at the moment and if we're anything like we were against Utd then we'll turn them over. Anything less then it could be difficult. They also have a good record at Wembley so that should be considered.

Mkhi is going to be looking to pull the strings along with Ozil so I think we need to be similarly aggressive as we were vs Man Utd. Strong challenges against what is a team of pretty soft players. We're physically far superior to them and we need to make that count.

I'm hoping their win against a rubbish Everton team will have them being complacent thinking that they're now on an upward curve and we'll give em a smack on the chops with a nice solid 2-0 win.

I think line up depends on how Toby came through yesterday, and his recovery over the following days. Can't see him starting 2 games in a row having been out for so long, however he's been training for two weeks and CB isn't the most demanding of positions.

Other than that, I think it will be the same team that lined up against United and Liverpool, with Vic, Dier and Eriksen as the midfield 3 vs Juve in a 532 - which is what I believe it should be

My preference is three at the back. I’d definitely go with Alderweireld for this game. I’d also go Wanyama over Dier and rotate full backs.
Tough on Son, but he is a great option from the bench.
Subs: Vorm, Aurier, Rose, Dier, Lamela, Lucas, Son

Swap deli for Son and that would be my team.

Llorente really doesn’t deserve a bench spot. Especially if we play a 3 then Son moura Lamela As bench attacking options. If Son starts I’d give sterling bench place.

Don't worry mate, I used to be known as psychic dick, he lays on our 4th goal in the last 10 minutes to make it 4-1.

I don't think there's rrom for Llorente either, but there' certainly not room for Sterling. I imagine it will be something like Vorm, Aurier/Trippier, CB, Wanyama/Dier, Winks, Lamela, Lucas. if you had Llorente, Sissoko or Sterling to that then one has to miss.
