Lloris -
Tanganga, Romero, Dier, Regulion -
Højbjerg, Skipp, Ndombele -
Son, Kane, Lo Celso

Really surprised to see anyone still has Dele in the side. Torn between Bryan and Lo Celso for the last attacking role.

You're surprised to see people still putting Dele in their team, but you're torn about Lo Celso, THFCs very own Enigma Code, who even Alan Turing would struggle to figure out.

Dele may not be fully acclimatised to his new CM role, but he's still offering more than Lo Celso is. And if he was played in the attacking role, his natural position, he'd provide more than Lo Celso is capable of. We've seen it!

As for being torn between Bryan & Lo Celso for that final attacking spot. Give me the fearless, skillful & energetic 20 year old any day of the week, rather than the biscuit boned, go down rolling in agony if a shadow goes near him option that is Lo Celso.

Sorry GLC fans. I just don't get him & don't think I ever will.

Can’t see nuno dropping dele. He epitomises what nuno wants from the players - very fit, hard working, aggressive, tactically disciplined team player. Sure he needs to work on his passing in midfield but none of our other mids would cover the ground he does and that’s vital in this system.

He also is one of very few players to have full preseason and no injuries, ie fully fit!

I also thought he had a great game at wolves and noticeable how often he was in the box when crosses came in from Gill.

... not to mention that if Gil had been a little luckier with his point-blank shot on goal, Dele would've had TWO sliderule assists against Wolves and we'd be talking MOTM.

He's can't believe you say about people having dele in their sides, but then say you're torn between having gio on the field - who is worse imo! none of them are good enough right now, But we dont have anyone else do we? sad state of affairs.
I think that Gio adds a lot more. He's not been great this season but has still been a damn sight better than Dele.

He's not been great this season but Dele has been shocking for 2 years. Looks as though Lucas is fit though so hopefully he will be OK to start instead of both of them

I reckon Lucas starts now:

——————Lloris
Emerson—Romero—Dier—Reguilon
—Ndombele—Hojbjerg—Dele
——Lucas——Kane——Son

If Lucas still out:

---------------------Lloris----------------------
---Emerson---Romero-----Dier------Reguilon----
--------------------Skipp----------------------
--------------Hojbjerg---Ndombele-------------
--------Son-----------------------Gil----------
--------------------Kane----------------------

Subs: Gollini, Tanganga, Rodon, Sanchez, Davies, Dele, Lo Celso, Scarlett, Markanday
Difficult to really argue against this selection, based on known fitness, form, etc. Dele & Lo Celso replace Ndombele and Gill 65 and 70+ mins in respectively. I might be tempted to go with Sanchez, instead of Dier, but then is it a problem with two right-footed CH's?

he adds nothing imo, which is a shame as i thought we had a player when we signed him, but he just glides through games, doesn't really tackle, doesn't score, doesn't assist - so not sure what he does?

I remember the corresponding fixture last season, when we'd hit a bit of form and the goons were not looking forward to us turning up...and then we turned up and played like the first XI from the RNIB and we got well and truly done.

I only hope our penalty win at Wolves during the week will give us a bit of positivity and confidence. They are so beatable it's untrue, but then, so are we. I firmly believe if all 22 players were playing at their peak, we'd have by far the better side every time, but sadly, we all know that's not how it works.
