My PSV lineup vs Inter:

Heurelho Gomes
Jaap Stam - Ronald Koeman - Hector Moreno
Ruud Gullit - Mark van Bommel - Phillip Cocu - Arjen Robben
Romario - Ronaldo - Dries Mertens
Ha ha, that would be nice. I’m holding a torch that PSV will do us a favour and we will sneak in through back door. Inter’s goalkeeper was very lucky not be sent off at 0-1 in Eindhoven, so hopefully they will get some karma.

"We'll see. We need to assess tomorrow. We don't know. I really don't know if he's going to be ready or not to play." (Aurier)
Not sure we have any options & if he plays it will be the making or breaking of him.
Well, it won’t be the breaking of him. He’d be coming into the game as third choice RB against the best team in the world. If that’s not a good enough get out of jail free card, then what is? It’d be fantastic experience for him, though, win lose or draw.

You mean the game against Real where Dele scored twice and was arguably the best player on the pitch ? I’m sure you will disagree with the review of Dele’s performance that night in the match report below ,

https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/41821993

Poch set us up well and got that game tactically spot on.

Yes, Dele is capable of good performances.

I wouldn't start him in this game.

But would likely involve him at some point.

Some disagree - that's fine with me.

My XI :

Lloris
Aurier, Toby, Jan, Rose
Dier, Winks, Dele
Eriksen,Kane,Son

Incase Aurier is unfit, I would play Dier at RB and Lucas in the team.

Well, if KWP really has to start, then I think we should be going with five at the back.

................ Lloris ................
...
Toby .... Dier .... Jan ....
KWP ...................... Davies
..... Sissoko ... Winks ........
Eriksen ...................... Dele
.................. Kane ................

But If Lamela were to be fit, I would rather go like this:

................ Lloris ................
...
Toby .... Dier .... Jan ....
KWP ...................... Davies
............... Sissoko ..............
Lamela ...Eriksen ...... Dele
.................. Kane ................

Because I'm way, way ahead of the chuckleheads on here.

Your ‘way, way ahead’ is the same strategy every time you pick a team - You put a youngster in for a regular starter and quite often play them out of position too. You did it with Onomah for ages. Also did it with Foyth for a while and now it’s Skipps’ turn I guess. Go through all your old starting teams and you’ll see this.

Certainly not ground breaking stuff to be honest.

The team vs real when we won was...

Lloris
Tripps
Verts
Sanchez
Toby
Davies
Dier
Winks
Alli
Eriksen
Kane

I think we have to get son and sissoko in there. Sanchez for sissoko and Kwp at rb and switch to a 4 at the back. So for me its two of dier, sissoko and winks. I think poch will go with dier and sissoko (which will be similar to the team that beat chelsea - when serge and foyt played) whilst Id probably go sissoko and winks (winks played in the Liverpool 4-1 game and the real win). Its a really tough one.

But an attacking 4 of kane, eriksen, alli and son just has to be played.

Lloris
Kwp
Toby
Verts
Davies
Alli
Winks
Sissoko
Eriksen
Son
Kane

We cant go 3 at the back unless Foyth plays. No thanks. He's been dropped in enough shit this month and frankly we dont want anyone likely to be giving away penalties and freekicks around the box so thats Lamela out as well for me and Aurier.
I think it will be...
Lloris
Kwp Alderwiereld Vertonghen Rose
Sissoko Dier
Alli Eriksen Son
Kane

Go all out. If we lose 6-3 who gives a fuck, at least we scored. Barca, especially with Messi, are bound to score anyway so there isn't much point sitting back and trying to soak up their attack.

He was once putting Iago Falque into every 11 as well.

On reflection I'd go with this team:

Lloris
Toby Dier Verts
KWP -------- Winks --------Rose
Son -- Eriksen -- Dele
Kane

Impact Subs - Lamela + Moura to come off the bench, probably for Dele and Son (who hopefully will have run themselves into the ground, and Barca ragged!)

Going stereotyped Prem long ball style.

I know this won't happen. but this is my fifa approach. Dier and Sissoko to be DM's chasing the midfield like headless chickens.

LLoris
KWP/Auier Toby Jan Rose
Dier Sissoko
----------LONG BALL--------
Llorente
Dele Eriksen
Kane & Son

We’ll definitely need the extra man against Barca .
